A peek into the past. Seems like it was just a year or two ago.

Can't believe how badly last year went and that we also got VJ out of it. And it's weird to think that we are starting to veer away from this into a more uptempo, guard-centric offense. Sad to think as well that dominant inside presence is something that we will probably never call Joel Embiid again.

  2. Won an mvp off the back of that middy, if it never progressed the way it did his knees would’ve been fried 3 years ago 

  3. That middy and Embiid at the nail offense would have extended his career because he wouldn’t have to bang down low until Kuminga fucking annihilated his knee. He gave it his all during the Knicks series. He just wasn’t right after the Olympics.

    Why can’t a coach sit him down, show him some Shaq highlights and say, “Dude, just do this” lolololol

    Keep his minutes limited and his ass on the block, babyyyyyy.

    And I don’t want to hear “but the NBA is different now” because this team has wasted more goddamn possessions over the past four years with him sitting at the top of the key than anybody. We have legitimate guards now, he doesn’t have to play stupid anymore. : )
