Don’t look now, but it looks like SGA’s 3 point leap has arrived. He’s been supremely confident shooting it after a slow first few games and looks like a weakness has become a strength.
Not to mention his playmaking leap as well. He recorded back to back 10+ assist games in 3 quarters less than a game ago.

He genuinely can be the GOAT
Take away game 1 vs the rockets and he’s shooting 40% on the season
If he fr can average 40% on 6 attempts I think that would be the most complete scoring season of all time
Always found it annoying when people complain about Shai taking 3s, as if he isn’t a historically good 3PT shooter. Sometimes his shot selection is questionable beyond the arc, but we’ve won like 3-4 playoff games off of Shai hitting massive 3s in the clutch. He has to continue utilizing that shot.

straight mvp shit right there
He is very much locked in on shooting that step back three from the wing. He has been tweaking his form since the beginning of last season and it is as smooth as ever with a nice arc. His passing has evolved to be a lot more versatile and crafty. Those big assist games are not flukes. Game 7 of the finals, of all times, was when we first saw his playmaking ascend and it has carried over. He said in an interview not too long ago that he can still improve on so much. It’s hard to believe, but he really has made yet another leap. It’s hidden from the masses because he only plays three quarters.
If he hits that step back >40% this season is a fucking wrap.
