Impressive win after a shocking collapse. They could’ve folded and spiraled, they didn’t. Then Quick was nice enough to chuck in a morale galvanizing moment.
Sounds like we won’t be hearing more Goff chants any time soon. I’m sure everyone is disappointed now
How is Danielson looking to everyone? Just trying to gauge what others are thinking.
So Raymond is on a heater, he had 7 shots last night also which is sick. If you look at most superstars, they almost always have high amount of shots on goal, like around 4SOG/game as average. For Raymond, part of that is getting himself to a strong shooting opportunity but also choosing to shoot instead of that extra pass.
I’m obviously a Raymond truther and believe he has that 100p upside, and in order to get there I think he has to continue to trust his shot even more – which is in fact nasty, as is his passing
Good morning to everyone and especially to Emmitt “Face Wash” Finnie. He’s a thing of beauty in that fight shot.
I’ve been saying it in the past few game threads, but I low key really like Ben. It just took me until recently to notice it.
That was one of the best defensive neutral zone traps I’ve seen from the red wings in a very long time. Rags had a very hard time getting clean entry and getting going.
Quick check in on the standings. After 19 games the Wings are where they need to be and Toronto….well fuck them

Raymond with 14 points in his last 10 and seider with 9 points in his last 10 after both started the season a little slow production wise.
Top end production and the team underlying numbers all look good but probably going to need our depth or our goaltending to step up if we want to make the playoffs this year.

My hard work paid off, you should have seen how far my jaw dropped when we got to our seats and I saw the uni’s.
I thought Quicks behavior at the end of the game was ridiculous, bombastic, and completely out of line.
He’s exactly the type of player the Red Wings need.
Still jerked up from that win last night.. holy shit 🔥🔥🔥💪
I didn’t think the NHL was capable of doing something as cool as letting two opponents wear their colored jersey’s in a matchup.
Red Wings are in second place BABY!
Over the summer GMSY said that the owners/managers had talked about the possibility of letting every team carry three goalies.
A possible side effect could be more goalies playing later into their careers, and more of the excellent performances we saw from Talbs and Quick last night. They probably can’t play lots of games at age 40, but if they could play 20 per season at that level I am all for the idea! They both still have the juice.

Adopted Saturday. She also isn’t super pleased with Saturdays performance.
Why did Apple get a 10 min misconduct? From what I saw he didn’t even fight Quick back
Talbot is our no 1 and Gibson is booty cheeks. I would really like to hear any opinions that say otherwise
I think the best thing about last night is that they got their shit together immediately instead of spiraling for three games or so.
Debrincat the type of guy to steal the kill out your finishing move animation in COD and then tell you he was confirming the kill
Y’all notice that Raymond has been a bit of a dick to the other team this year? Ive been noticing multiple times where he has just a passive fuck you to something.
Like last night at the end a rangers player tried to shoot the puck to the other end after an icing. Raymond was there and stopped it with his skate and it went somewhere else. Like he did it to make sure that guys puck didn’t go where he wanted to. Between him and Kasper it’s been hilarious to watch

Larkin saving Appleton’s life. Not to exaggerate…but…
we’re technically two games away from the quarter mark but I’m too excited to wait
Wings on pace for 99 points which would be the most since 2014.
silly stat projections (all rounded down to the nearest whole number):
Larkin: 47 / 51 / 98
Cat: 38 / 51 / 89
Ray: 24 / 70 / 94
Mo: 8 / 47 / 55
Kane: 28 / 43 / 71
Finnie: 17 / 17 / 34
ASP: 8 / 12 / 20
Kasper on pace for 12 points 🙁
Copp on pace for 30
Compher on pace for 25
Ras on pace for 23

new lock screen
So with the cap going up, no FAs to do anything with in the offseason….. I wonder if a guy like Stamkos could be a decent pickup. Would definitely cost Pennie’s on the dollar – but I wouldn’t say no.
However I wouldn’t give up a player even like Ras for him. It would be Stamkos+ and the only hope would be him finding a PP connection and being a 4th liner.
Wallstedt and Askarov are both playing and playing well. I know goalies need to simmer before hitting the big leagues, but I’m hoping Cossa can start making a name for himself in Detroit soon. These sub .900 SV% aren’t going to cut it.
Larkin went into high gear last night. Love to see the jump from him and Raymond last night.

Gotta love goalies, lol.
Also, the Atlantic standings are something else. The wild swings in placement will continue for the foreseeable future by the look of it.

I GOT RED WINGS FEVER ([and apparently he’s a scrummer too!](https://youtube.com/shorts/3h-4aVvC_f4?si=OvbeBMJtsC9lUZtw))
I’m really glad we won that game cause everyone is posting the pictures and I can associate it with good times.
Someday I’ll stop whining about the weirdo Raymond haters but today is not that day. Seriously, people looked at his 13 points in 14 games and thought he was a problem? Because they decided he wasn’t a threat? Weirdos.
What have you guys thought of the new third line? Is there hope for depth scoring there?
I dont think we’re going to win many games if all of our goals come from our 5 best players
I’m glad we beat the brakes off the Rangers.
Looking ahead it does seem like they’re getting to a point in their schedule where they can hopefully start building a bit of a cushion but…
This year in particular it seems there are no easy wins and the floor has been raised in the nhl
The good news is that after last night’s game i bought anybody is gonna be chanting Jared Goff at a Wings game any time soon
Rewatching that Raymond goal
Although I am happy with the result on Sunday and where we sit in the standings as of today. I still feel a bit off about the team. The reason for this is goaltending and depth scoring. All the wins we most recently got continue to be heavily relied upon by Larkin, Raymond, Debrincat and Kane (PP1 points). So essentially just one line. Our 2nd-4th lines continue to put up 0’s across the board. What else can management do to get the 5v5 scoring going via depth? We have changed lines combinations so many times, nothing seems to stick.
