THAT’S WHY THEY WERE IN THE CONVERSATION FOR TRADING FOR RASHID, SHAHEED IN NEW ORLEANS. THEY KNOW THEY NEED THAT BUT UP THE QUARTERBACK BECAUSE THEY KNOW HE DOESN’T BLINK, HE TAKES THE CRITICISM AND HE’S CLUTCHED IN THE BIG MOMENTS OF THE FOOTBALL GAME.   12. Nix had better QB stats than Elway in his rookie year. In fact his stats were the second highest in NFL history. Nix alsp played more games in his rookie year. I love Elway but give Nix his due.

  15. Nix looks like Love with a better coach, that coach couldn't make a Super Bowl with Brees year after year about says it. You go 5 years with the guy and let him shop himself if he does not get better, and pay him $20-30M a year, he didn't like Russ sucking up cap. Team know Paytons ability so others will not pay the guy either, they hesitated paying Darnold, Jones, Mayfield, they are not going to pay some guy with a 91 rating. They could draft a QB though he has not shown he knows QBs, or they could bring in a Tua, Young, Love, Burrow, Lawrence next contract because they have a QB they will not cap out on if he does not get better.

  25. Denver has the most drops and most penalty yards in football. Bo is constantly playing behind the chains and outside of passer rating he’s blowing Elway out of the water in the first 2 seasons. That said, if you go by adjusted completion percentage and adjusted qbr removing accurate wide open drops and Nix is top 3 in the NFL currently and top3 all time in the first 2 seasons. Troy Franklin and Evan Ingram are the reason Bo stats look bad.

This guy makes absolutely 0 sense that it’s ridiculous, first of all we’re not comparing the John Elway when he had Mike Shanahan as his coach but if were comparing stats, Nix is having a better start to his career than John elway did, the one thing they both have in common is that there both winners. And when it comes to any sport winning is all that matters. Peyton manning had the worst stats and the worst ratings ever by a qb his last season but they won the SB.

  36. Broncos fans weren't booing Bo Nix specifically against the Raiders. They were booing an offense that looked like it was reverting to its old ways — going FOREVER without a 1st down (I think it was 9 possessions in a row). That wasn't just on BO, it was on all of the players and the coaches. There were weak runs, bad play calls, dropped passes, everyone was sucking which is something Broncos fans have grown tired of over the last decade. Now with Bo, we're finally getting out of that. But it was boo worthy to watch them regress, if even for just one game. Broncos fans absolutely love Bo Nix, Colin.

  45. Bo has way better stats at start of career than Elway did. Of course it was a different era but QBR rating is flawed stat. Doesn’t measure heart and the clutch gene 🧬
