This report just told us everything about the Pelicans and what’s going on inside the organization as they continue to struggle in the first 10 games of the season. Willie Green’s hot seat is hotter than ever and this new report just about confirms everything that’s going on and we’re going to break down that report inside this edition of Pelicas Digest. And of course, the the focus the focus right now it continues to be the job certain situation with Willie Green. uh we talked about in the last video. Uh and a new report that is coming out today is pretty much confirming that the vibes are bad all around his team. And according to multiple staffers and people in the in the building, things aren’t well right now. And everybody’s just sitting around on pins and needles waiting for the other shoe to drop on Willie Green. And we’ll get into that in a minute. But of course, tonight you’re going up against a Portland Trailblazers team that uh by all again, let me say this again. You’re going into a fiveame home stand. This game is probably the only team and the only game that you can probably win to be honest with you. And when you look at their roster tonight, there should be no reason for you not to win tonight. You got Scoot Henderson out, Damen Lillard, as you know, has been out. Matis Styel, he’s out. Blake Wesley, he’s out. So, they gonna be short-handed once again. Another chance for you to beat a short-handed team. If you’re the New Orleans Bellicans tonight and a team that don’t had they coach, they as you know what’s going on with their coach. You already know what’s happening with that coach. So, uh yeah, you have another reason. You have no excuses once again to beat this team tonight. And also, there’s another reason why you really need to beat this team tonight. And it’s got to be considered in the minds of these players. You have to make it considered to be a must-win situation. Even if you’re Willie Green for this fact right here, this team is arguably just five shots away from a 500 record. According to at least one half glass executive within the Pelicans organization, New Orleans is two wins out of the 10th spot in the West standings and three wins behind Portland where play a home playin tournament game according to Chris Dodson. And again, I encourage you to go read the article right now on Clutch Point by Chris Dodson. Uh where where Pel This is where according to him where the Pelicans sit with Willie Green entering a brutal fivegame home stand. So, uh yeah, man. So, if you want to check out that article, go read it because it’s a fascinating read. It’s a deep read and he’s getting a lot of inside information from a lot of folks within the organization. Uh and one of the things that I found crazy about this article was this story right here. Multiple representatives and stavers have described how the overall internal vibes are bad and how green sticking around makes one want to crash out according to Chris Dodson. Yes, we we’re all feeling that way, Chris. As a fan base, we feeling that way. And can I say this real quick? Let me add this real quick. Somebody added in the comments yesterday, why am I still going to the games? The answer is simple. I already got season tickets. I already bought the damn tickets. They already got my money. So, I’m going to the game. Okay. They already got my tickets. They already got my money. I already got the tickets. I’m going to the game. And if I’m going to be at the game, I’m going to let them hear that I’m not happy with the product. If they put out a crappy product out there that night. So, so there you go. That’s why I’m going to be at the games because I got the tickets already. But, uh, yeah, man. And this article just continues on, man. It’s It’s crazy. It’s crazy what I read in this article, man. Uh, one of the things that they point out was how uh uh the vibes are not only just bad, but it seems like the coaching staff, the surrounding coaching staff and the players have left Willie Green to pretty much figure it out on its own. Trey Murphy even made a statement like that at the practice. He said, “It’s something that that we got to figure out ourselves.” And it kind of made it sound like the players are trying to figure it out themselves. and not the coaches, which is the coach’s job to figure it out. The players are trying to figure it out, which is insane to hear, which is insane to hear. That’s not all this article says, man. Uh, it gets worse as multiple sources describe an organization gripped by anxiety and self-preservation because Joe Dumar is talking about wanting a completely clean house. One person close to the team told Clutch Point, “Some fear that the front office is quietly looking for someone who would completely shake up the organization and reset the culture.” As a Bellicus fan, you probably like, “Yeah, I’m good with that. Yeah, I’m good with that.” If you’re a Bellicus fan, you’re probably saying, “Yeah, I’m good with that.” But I still continue to argue that that, you know, for the sake of them being safe, they’re going to go with Morgo. I think they’re just going to hand the keys over to Morgo. They figure it out in the offseason. But this home stand is going to be very crucial again. But I say this when the schedule was released that this will be the second crucial moment in this in this early part of the season for this for Willie Green’s job in this season. Especially you going into a five game home stand and you’re going against a tough home stand. And again, tonight is your best shot to at least get one up on them five. But hey, the the plan was according to insiders and the Bellicas organization was always to give Willie Green and Zion Williamson at least 15 games, maybe 20 to 25, depending on injuries and a tough schedule. That was the first pit window to use a racing term for a quick change if the team was not doing well. So again, so we was off my estimate. We thought it was 10. Some we we went as low as six. Now we up to 20 25. And the the article goes on to say that Green is basically just buying his time until Zion gets back and trying to just keep things and mentally or or with the team just keep things afloat until Zion or one or Murray or one of these other guys come back. And you don’t have time for that, dog. You don’t have time for that. Zion may be back for the Lakers game. Maybe. We still ain’t got the report back yet. Today was supposed to be one of the first days that he was gonna get evaluated. So, we still don’t know. But you can’t rely on that, man. And again, while he’s out here still trying to throw the rookies out there and still trying to get them, you know, some some good playing time and minutes and get them developed at the same time. It’s like I said, man, it’s just crazy, man. I don’t know what to say, man. Because tonight is going to be again another crucial must-win situation. It could be the start of a three-game losing streak once again or or you just stay the clock for another 24 hours. Because I will say this, and I agree with Chris Dodson, another humiliating loss, especially to a team whose coach was recently in FBI custody would be the final embarrassing straw for the crust of city’s most cautious decision makers. You get bleeped by a coach that’s that’s in FBI custodi. Come on, fam. Come on, fam. Come on, man. It’s going to be crazy tonight, man. This could get crazy tonight.
