Cooper Flagg Scores 21 Points vs Trail Blazers | November 16, 2025
Dallas defeated Portland 138–133 in overtime, improving to 4–10 on the season, while the Trail Blazers fall to 6–7.
Cooper Flagg filled the stat sheet with 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. P.J. Washington matched him with 21 points and added 7 rebounds, while Daniel Gafford posted 20 points and 6 rebounds. Klay Thompson added 19 points, knocking down five threes. The Mavericks’ bench also made a major difference, outscoring Portland’s reserves 47–15.
Shaedon Sharpe led the Blazers with a season-high 36 points, adding 4 rebounds and 6 assists. Deni Avdija followed with 29 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists, while Jerami Grant contributed 26 points and 5 rebounds. Donovan Clingan provided strong interior play with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Dallas shot a perfect 7-for-7 from the field in overtime, becoming just the second team in the play-by-play era (since 1997–98) to go perfect on seven field-goal attempts in an OT period. The only other instance came from the Milwaukee Bucks on Oct. 30, 2001, in a win over Utah. No team has ever gone 100% on more field-goal attempts in an overtime frame.

that play at 1:10 was a perfect example of what this kid is capable of. reads a cut and makes a great steal, dribbles 2 players up court, cuts into the paint and spins the 3rd defender before hitting him with a euro and makes the and 1 on a seperate trailing defender. What a talent…
Roty I see it
Dallas ownership doesn’t deserve this dude. The fans do but not that booty juice ownership
REPENT AND BE READY GOD BLESS
Flagg might actually win mvp. Vj has gone on a streak of stinkers since his like 5th game. Flagg hasnt dropped any 30 balls yet but he has been consistently getting 15+
Just imagine if this guy was next to Wemby in the Spurs
He was like this at duke too. Just really humble kid who was hesitant to take over until he got more comfortable. His talent is generational. The mavs need to tell him he is option 1 now that everyone is hurt
We just gotta get healthy and get hot, I see the vision
Reminds me of young Lebron. Used to be electric like that
better than lebron james
This kid got some handle for his size but they ask him to be the point guard as a rookie. That is crazy. Let him play his natural position.
0:32 MJesque
He's too slow now pump the brakes and let's see if this guy will be a real star in the nba
50% of praise comes from bot comments. Nice
Luka is still better.
Don't forget to thanks Nico for this incredible talent being in Dallas
That pass at the end was nasty.
간지나게 농구하네
2:02 no one peeped the double dribble? Lmfao
when I see people talk 💩 about Cooper even when he has a 16pt 8rb 4ast game and is a 2way player. I really think they forget he is the 2nd youngest player ever to do it. This is him at his floor and it will only get much better with time and strength after an NBA offseason work out regimen.
He is talented, he is big, and he's smart. He'll be in the USA Olympic roster in the next Olympics. He can be the best American player of the next generation.
I thought y’all said he wasn’t better than bronny?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
…and?
Best rookie in the league and so damn clutch in back 2 back games
If u dunno youngest player
with 20/5/5 and 0 to
Flagg will be like tatum on offence and kawhi on defence, he wont have the playmaking of luka.
Watch the Mavs trade him near his prime as well lmaooo 😂
he is good
He’s getting healthy
Coop looks a bit slow
Cooper Flagg has to take more shots.
He honestly looks pretty good out there. This is becoming a great situation for him
He is a slow white lebron regen. He plays team first basketball, has a crafty game instead of athletic. Inside outside scorer and a playmaker. The mags gave up Luka but at least they got their new franchise player.
wtf is a "Coop"
The BEST talent in the World 🙏 he is amazing
At 18 years old he's still filling out. He will naturally gain muscle until about the age of 22.
Coop is the great white hope
Let Cooper cook! 0:30 Damn.
Some ppl talk bad ‘bout cooper flagg but he’s the youngest player in the nba RN and he is a ROOKIE, lol, he doesn’t need to be the best player in the world the first year he plays in the nba, let him progress.
Hes Luku .20
He should still be a senior in high school
They ice him out of the offense too much. They need a better PG that can pass not just score. He's open a lot of the time on cuts and in transition, that's what he excels at. Those are missed opportunities. His handles aren't quite good enough yet to be a PG himself but he can grow into it. They tried to force it on him but he's just not comfortable in that role yet. A couple more years he probably will be.
Ppl put the bar too high for rookies gotta have patience and let them learn
Whole team getting better after firing Nico
Health and speedy recoveries for Kyrie and AD but this been a blessing for the kid . All the pressure is gonna turn him into a monster 🔥🔥
1:06, incredible
Of course, he's a Duke Boy!!! Go, Cooper.
