  6. I was 19yrs old when Iverson was drafted in 1996.

    What made me so excited about rooting for his success before he played a single game was in-part because he literally looked like he could be a regular dude in my age range from any neighborhood.

    He had a face like a teenager with a regular athletic build and height at a time when NBA players were extraordinarily tall, muscular, or looked like older men.

    Then when he brought the flare of playground style and it was effective along with his swagger….mannnn he had the entire generation rocking with him!
