[Schefter] ESPN sources: Falcons QB Michael Penix suffered a potentially season-ending knee injury during Sunday’s loss to the Panthers. Penix will be seeking a second opinion, but it is not encouraging.

  10. There is quite literally no reason to even watch games rest of the year. No pick, no QB development, no winning.

  11. Hate to see this but I’m more worried for Drake. The way his knee bent on that hit… I thought it was pure adrenaline that he was even able to run off the field. 

  15. Crazy how some people just have bad luck with injuries. Between this and college, his legs are going to be bionic soon.

  16. I wish him well and a speedy recovery. However please don’t let him getting injured be an excuse to let Raheem coach another year.

  22. Not only did he hire a brainless coaching staff .. he drafted a qb with a 69 year old knees … not to mention while already having a 100 million qb … ohh annnddd we 3-7 😂😂😂

    Shitty coaching, no QB prospect, aging offensive line. Best case scenario, we’re competitive in 3 years. Amazing.

  31. This man came off the board as the third oldest first round QB ever with multiple season ending injuries and we fucking fell for it based off tape of a 23 year old working over 18 year olds in the PAC 12.

  35. The season has been over for a few weeks now so it doesn’t matter too much, but this was bound to happen sooner or later. By far Penix’s biggest downside is his fragility and history with injuries.

    And knowing Blank, this might be enough excuse to bring Raheem back next year, to “give him a fair chance”

  44. we have lived to see the worst possible outcome of the Cousins/Penix debacle. i was never against it at the time, but it literally could not have gone any worse. we are royally fucked.
