Got the ball and went down. Field goal at the end of the game if I’m not mistaken. Right. Okay. Yes. Okay. Hey, guess what? They count as point field goal. Field goal points, right? Yeah, it do. It do. Y B Knicks 2437 295 no touchdowns, no interceptions, was sacked twice. Uh they ran the ball for 59 times. Not a whole lot of rush yards. Franklin had four for 82. Bryant had five for 82. Courtland Sutton four for 59. Evan Ingram had four for 33. Uh Patrick Mahome was 29 of 45, 276, one touchdowns, one interception. The Broncos sacked him six time uh three, excuse me, three times, but pressured him numerous times. Travis Kelce had his best day. Nine for 91 on a touchdown. Taekquin Thornton, one catch, 61 yards. I’ve been trying to say, “Oh, where you been?” I don’t know what they’re doing. I don’t know what they’re doing. But, you know, once Rasheed Rice came back and Hollywood Brown is back and and and everyone else, you know, he has to take a back seat, huh? He has to take a back seat. So, anytime anytime Taekquin Thornton’s on the field, he’s auditioning for where he going to be next year. He’s auditioning for where he going to be next year. Broncos have now won eight straight. They’ve beaten both teams that participated in the Super Bowl. They beat the Eagles and they’ve beaten Chiefs. Can I take their two losses by a combined this many points? Do you know why? Then they got the Chargers at home on the road at the Titans. The Broncos Christmas Day. And in Christmas on like a Tuesday or a Wednesday. When does Christmas what Christmas fall on, Jordan? Thursday, man. They play they play Sunday and then they got but they got a quick turnaround cuz they play the Cowboys on the 27th. No, that’s No, that’s not No. Oh, yeah, it is. Cuz they play the Colts next week and then on Sunday and then they turn around and play on Thanksgiving and then they get 10 days off and play Sunday night. Then they get the regular and then they turn around and uh play the Titans and then Titans and then they play the Broncos on Christmas and then they add the Raiders. So they’re going to have to entering the s this season. The NFL had 989 teams in the Super Bowl era that started five and five or worst. Just 89 of those teams, 9% went on to make the postseason. Only two only two made the Super Bowl. The lone team to win the Super Bowl was the 2001 New England Patriots led by first year quarterback Tom Brady. First year starting quarterback Tom Brady. He was drafted in 2000, but he started um we all know Drew uh uh Blessel got hurt. All five of the Chiefs losses this season have occurred in one score game decided by eight or fewer points. Entering this season, the Chiefs had won 17 consecutive one-score game, including the playoffs, which is the longest streak in NFL history. That catches up with you, Oo. Remember the past two years they they were winning games like this. Hey, and then finally it it caught up with you and and uh but but this this is the thing. This is the thing. I know it’s about wins and losses right now, right? It’s the it’s the regular season, but you know, Chiefs football is a little different when they get to the playoffs. Now, they’re going to be in contention. I know right now I think they’re the fifth seed. If if if they if the playoffs were to start tomorrow, I think they’d be the No, the Chiefs are the 10th seed. God damn. No, my bad. The ninth seed. The fifth seed is the Buffalo Bills at seven and three. I mean they the six seeders the Chargers seven and four and Jacksonville at the playoffs ended today would be at the last playoff spot at six and four. And then you got the Texans Chiefs Baltimore all tied at five and five. But the Texans are eighth. Chiefs are ninth. The Ravens are 10th. The Dolphins are the 11th seed at four and and seven. And Cincinnati is the 12th seed at three and seven. Damn. All right. We all know the Chiefs are going to make it. We know the Chiefs are going to squeeze in there. They they they’re going to be in the playoffs. No, we don’t know that this year. Oo, that’s not the same Chiefs. That’s that’s different. Um, can I ask you? They got they got the next week. I don’t care. I don’t care who they got. They could they could have been playing Jesus and the 12 disciples. Are you betting against Patrick Mahomes in in football games that matter after after uh November? After Thanksgiving, when football starts, football season really starts after Thanksgiving. In the words of Bill Bich, that’s when football season actually starts. I can see the Broncos beating them again. Um, Cowboys because that’s a short week. Cowboys what? Whoa, whoa, whoa. Cowboys. So at at some point, you know, at some point, you know, when it comes to the Kansas City Chiefs, no matter how they look in the regular season, when it matters most, Patrick Mahomes elevates his level of play. He elevates his level of play. He does it every single year. He did it last year. They were playing horrible when the season started. They were playing horrible when they started this year. Rasheed Rice came back. Oh, they back at the top. They all were. Now everything is back is is back even. They don’t look the same. Now we having that same conversation again when it matters most. They had 14 rushing attempts. They can’t rush the football. Well, hell, the Eagles can’t rush the football either. Yeah, but see, you look at basically everything. It’s It’s different. Teams are better. The Broncos are better. teams in the AFC are better this year. You know, they are. You know what? I’m I’m gonna let you have that. I’mma let you have it. And I’m let you have that and then when the postseason comes and we do the show, all I’mma do, I’m going redirect to when I say that on November 16th when we talked about where you thought the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes were no longer the same. And Bo doesn’t either. So, um, yeah. Well, if he didn’t care what people said, you wouldn’t have made a You wouldn’t say anything about it in the media. You told the horror whether you don’t you you don’t care by telling them that you don’t care. You do care because when you don’t care about something, you don’t mention it. It doesn’t bother you. Shawn Peyton gonna always put him in position for that team to succeed offensively because the defense, hey, them boys, they they on autopilot. That defense is on autopilot. I don’t Man, you can call the goddamn plays and they will have success because of the personnel y’all have defensively. Well, they can get after you now. They can do that. They can they can definitely get after your quarterback. and uh you’re not going to have a whole lot of time, but they need uh they need uh I mean, look, they had 10 penalties today for 147 yards. Think about it. They’re nine and two, but lead the NFL in punts. That’s not a good recipe. That’s not normally with a record like that, you’re probably like middle of the pack towards the bottom in punts. But you lead the NFL in punts and you nine and two, you got to be real real careful.
