Brady sounds like he’s going to orgasm on every big throw
Best tandem
It was probably one of Brady’s best games I’ve heard so far. But I also think that this post doesn’t get made if they didn’t praise Caleb so much.
Brady’s voice is really annoying.
But if there’s one dude who’s allowed to speak his mind without any restraint when it comes to offense, it’s him.
So that makes it interesting to watch him. He talks about some granular QB stuff that other commentators can’t elaborate on.
Brady isn’t bad, but Greg Olsen is still the best Fox color analyst and should be getting their A games.
I really don’t understand people not liking Brady’s commenting. I find him super informative and I appreciate him being willing to be critical of quarterbacks. He has all of the credibility and usually they’re informative comments. I’m a fan of him there.
Brady is so mush mouthed but I loved his genuine comment on loving football after the Moore cradling the egg catch.
We’ve had so many bad commentating teams this year that I was content with these guys just being pretty positive throughout the game and enjoying the chess match between Ben Johnson and Brian Flores.
Brady does this thing where he’ll criticize a player – specifically a quarterback, and he starts by digging into what they did wrong, but always wraps it up as an area of improvement rather than a personal failing. I can dig that.
Honestly, after hating Brady as a player for all this time, he’s gonna be so good in the booth when he’s fully settled in. His analysis is even better than Romo’s and he’s always excited about the sport. He’s also unbiased, which the same can’t be said about certain other commentators (COUGH TROY AIKMAN, ADAM ARCHULETA COUGH).
Brady is good. He has a little bit of that overly polished uncanny valley thing like he does with everything, but considering where the bar is set for announcers, he does a good job and has gotten much better since he started.
Greg Olsen is still better.
When they were running through JJ’s terrible passes, and Brady was just kinda speechless and barely able to mutter “I don’t even know.” Had me laughing.
Was pleasantly surprised. Brady has really gotten better.
I’m just happy I don’t have to listen to Mark Sanchez anymore.
It’s almost laughable how quickly Tom went from frightened new broadcaster to upper echelon color man.
These fools couldn’t beat him when he played and now he’s fast tracking himself to beating them at post playing careers too.
Tom looks high
They are worlds better than Buck and Aikman. Those two blow chunks.
I hated Tom Brady the player by the end tbh — but really like his IQ as a broadcaster.
“What the hell does this Tom guy know about throwing the football” – Me like 9 times during the game, nobody ever laughed
Last year Brady sucked. He was Joe Buck levels of bad. But he took a major step forward and has become a solid announcer now. Not sure I’d call him a1 but massively improved.
Brady just seems to be happy to watch football like he is now.
I was really sad at the end of the game when I realized it was Kevin Burkhardt who thought it was 3rd down, not 4th and not Tom Brady because that would have been absolutely hilarious
Kevin Burkhardt is great and Tom Brady is all right
i like bradys commentating but I hate seeing him
They all suck but, luckily, they all sound the same when I hit the mute button.
Brady was awkward during his first year, but he’s turned into a really respectable broadcaster. If Greg Olsen isn’t calling our game, then Brady is my next choice.
Brady looks like he’s putting the work in, and it’s starting to pay off. It’s going better than I thought it would.
I found Brady was hard to get used to after Olsen and KB had such good chemistry after Buck and that nutsack Aikman left for MNF but they have really been a great pairing now as the season and half together has gone on and I enjoy watching the games they are calling.
Also shout out to KB on the fantastic work he does with MLB on Fox also, His chemistry with Papi, Jeter and Arod is brilliant also I don’t get much of the Preshows to that over here in the UK but when I actively find it it’s brilliant!
I concur. I didn’t like Tom Brady the QB because he was too good and not on my team. And the first few times I saw him as a broadcaster he was average and he bumped Olsen who is great. And I am a Bears fan. But yesterday was the first time I’ve seen him this year and I enjoyed his insights into all the aspects of the game. He said “I love football” And we do too.
I still think Greg Olsen is a better more interesting color commentator. Brady took his spot because he is Tom Brady.
“And it is….. goooooooooooooood!” What a great call.
Tom normally irritates me but he was entertaining and informative during this game. I learned stuff listening to him, I wouldn’t have known otherwise. I also appreciated when they complimented him for remembering the stats on a previous game and how far he’s come as a commentator he turned it back to them and said he had an amazing team.
Meh…I’ll take Joniak and Thayer still 🙂
He has a ways to go, but he’s also improving and I don’t hate Tom Brady.
yeah, i actually enjoyed listening to Brady yesterday, i think he’s gotten a lot better since last year
I gotta admit: I’m digging Brady as a booth guy!
I was blown away by Brady yesterday. He’s putting in the work and it’s showing
Veneer central. “Pash rush.”
He had such a genuine response to some play, I can’t recall which play it was – where he said “man I just love football.”
You could tell he misses playing it. To be THAT good at something and to have age force you out of it is something that must be hard to deal with.
Anyways, it was a cool moment that rarely makes it on the color commentary.
Yeah it was nice not having the announcers trash our team the whole game.
I have one critique, use the word “juice” less Thomas
Brady is the best announcer imo.
This was honestly not Kevin’s best game. He had to correct himself more than a few times and called plays wrong. Didn’t seem sharp.
