  2. Jeez they ate that up like they knew it was coming. Had Rashee figured out and had Kelce bracketed by 3 people while at the same time 2 guys guarding the line to gain against a Mahomes scramble. It’s hard to belive that the Broncos gave away 2 first round picks and paid Russell Wilson 50 million last year and 30 million this year and they were still able to build such a good roster. New leadership is a hell of a thing.

    What in the actual fuck is this play design? Reid has completely lost it.

    Also, Mahomes just needs to keep running that and pick up five yards there. No idea why he stopped to try and make a dumb throw.

  5. Looks like normal NFL defensive play to me. Mahomes is just getting too chicken to set his feet and deliver tight window throws to secondary targets. It’s almost like he wants to freak out and scramble for time if the defense covered the primary target.

  7. I don’t think this clip makes the point you think it makes. Rashee was never the target here, the fact that Hufanga follows him is actually the point of the motion. What do you think the intent of this play was and why did it fail specifically?

  11. I mean the guy who really won his route was Hunt. He has Moss beat by at least a step if not more.

    Looks like a flood concept to gain a quick 5 or 6 to give yourself a better chance on 3rd down. The problem being all it did was jumble the entire middle of the field (zone pass off by the defense) and one of your best athletes (Rice) was nothing but a decoy.

    On 15s second step of his drop he has to fire it immediately to Gray. He is open. If Calindo could have held on for just a second longer he could have potentially hit Tonyan in the second window.

    I don’t love the grouping or play call but if the goal was to get into a third and manageable 15 has to put it on Gray immediately.

    And why does it seem like ALL of them are running half speed like they aren’t the target but just decoys?
