A minor league baseball player is fighting for his life in hospital following a horror crash which reportedly claimed the lives of three people in the Dominican Republic.
San Francisco Giants prospect Antonio Jimenez, 24, was one of four people involved in the accident in the Dominican city of San Pedro de Macoris early Monday morning.
What is with the DR and car accidents? Seems like tons of MLB and MiLB players get seriously injured or die in car crashes over there.
Hope he is alright. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned nothing good happens in the DR in the off-season!
Would be terrified to drive in the Dominican Republic. Hoping for a fun and speedy recovery for this young lad.
