Josh Naylor’s best moments with the Mariners in 2025! (Reportedly re-signing with team) 🔱

A lot of Mariner fans roaming around here in Sacramento. Game one of three. Josh Naylor wallops this out to right field way back to the bur and gone. Josh Naylor’s first home run as a Mariner. Gives them the early lead. He wasn’t waiting around. He was absolutely hunting that slider from Sears. He’s like, “What is this thing? What do I do with it? I I I carry it down the line. Somebody take this from me. Naylor a big jump throw to Curts. Curts skies it out of line into left field and Naylor gets into third base. Now Naylor who stole two bases yesterday gets his fourth bag already as a Mariner. Look at where Naylor is. He knows that Curts is going to be throwing to that inside part of the bag because the first baseman where he’s playing that is where he’s throwing to second base. is not throwing across the runner. He’s throwing to the inside on its way. Naylor a home run. Nice back flip right there, too. I mean, that is officially called back leg one. He’s so good at keeping his front side close. You know, he doesn’t open up. That’s lefty on lefty. He was hunting that the whole way. You can see his eyeballs lit up and he didn’t miss it. And these boys are good. They just swinging a little bit, eh? And here goes another one. Josh Naylor bombs away. Take cover. You just better hope that Josh Naylor isn’t hunting the pitch that’s coming out of your hand. This guy has such an incredible approach at the plate. He’s looking for something. He’s got an idea of what you’re going to throw. And if you throw it, he is absolutely going to punish you for it. Mariners scored all four runs in the first inning. Nothing since to right field, back and gone. There it is. A little insurance and it comes off the bat of Josh Naylor. 53 Mariners. Come the papa. His 15th home run of the season. And I mean he is inching closer and closer to a 2020 season. Naylor’s 100th career home run gives the Mariners the lead in the seventh inning. That’s how you reach a milestone. 397 ft. I’m going to round up to 4 and 103 miles per hour off the bat. Highf fly back to the chop house and gone. Play a little more add-on Josh Naylor this time. A threerun blast and the Mariners have blown it open. Nine-2 in the eighth inning. Everybody grow mustaches. We were all ringing our hands wondering if Josh Naylor was okay and I think he just answered it here. Although we hadn’t seen him pitch yet. Whacked right field. This ball is giving the Mariners the lead. Josh Naylor. [Music] [Applause] Well, he jumps all over this fast ball. Elevated middle part of the plate. And there is no doubt in his mind where this ball is going to end up. Well, maybe they better go ahead inside them right now. Naylor continues to pound the ball here at T-Mobile. Boy, a big hit last night and this one putting the Mariners out in front by a score of four to three. Ground ball. Naylor who was winded from the back slide tackles it. Munoz is there. One away. What a fantastic play by Naylor. Look how far he has to go. Goes into a slide and throws a perfect strike to Munoz. And who by the way was there on time. Great play all around. Naylor flips one down the right field line. That is a fair ball for his first hit of the playoffs. On his way to second and he will cruise in with a one-out double. First hit and base runner for Seattle is Josh Naylor in scoring position. Just a good swing by Naylor. I’m pretty much sure that was a split. Didn’t get down. Stayed middle. Naylor clips it out front. Doubles down the right field line. Just like that, the Mariners are in business. But he leaves behind. Oh boy, that went off the glove of Holton. Then off of Bayz and that slips through into center field. And Naylor is aboard for a second consecutive at bat. Keith on the ground. Naylor is there. It’s going to be a double play. Josh Naylor makes a fabulous defensive play again. He ended the game last night, snaring a liner, and this time he trapped it, got the tag. Tag the bag. Double play. Melton to Naylor. Josh Naylor flips that one into center field. His excellent day continues. His third hit of game four after a hitless first three games series. He loops one down the left field line towards the corner. It’s going to drop there. Josh Naylor with an extra base hit protects the plate and he’s in scoring position for Seattle in the second. Well off the plate away. This ball is probably 6 to 8 in off the plate, but he just gets the bat on it. Emergency swing. Takes what he gives him and he places his ball in the left field line for a double. Great at bat. Oh wow. He’s taken off for third. the fourth down by Dingler and Naylor has a steel. This is the crowd affecting this game. Naylor had a huge lead. He stole a ton of bases this year like this by getting gigantic jumps, but everyone on the field is yelling, “Step up! Step up!” Teruba can’t hear him. He’s not looking. He can’t hear him. He goes home and Nailers is at third with one out. That is a big man who hit 20 plus home runs and had 30 stolen bases. He has a very high IQ. And on the O2 to Naylor through the right side, a base hit. Palanco will stop at second base as Carpenter comes up throwing in. And the tying run is in scoring position as Naylor has his second hit of the night. The 2-1. Naylor ropes one into right field. A base hit. Another three hit game in this series for Naylor. And the game-winning run is at first for Seattle. And here comes Remos Key. Naylor goes up to get it. Grounds it through the middle. Base hit center field. Another two strike hit for Seattle as Naylor went up there above the letters to get to it. His bat path and the way that he sees the baseball. Do you see how flat that swing was? If you’re underneath that at all, forget it. So, you can see how flat. That’s the attack angle you got to have when you’re facing a 96 mph fast ball. Top of the zone. There goes Naylor from first. Throw from Kirk. Not close to in time. He is now 21 for 21, John. And stolen bases since going to Seattle. He didn’t know what to do right there. He didn’t know if I should slide. Off the end of the bat to center field. Here comes VO with a dunk in front of him for a base hit. Case where you’re happy you got it off in the end. It settles into center field and they’ve got him corner with two away. If they uh deemed it was going to go in in the dugout anyway, um the call is going to stand. So just a little bit of affair. Smother by miscommunication there, I guess, with me and uh me and FA. All right, guys. What a play right there by Josh Naylor coming off we just saw looked like he was hurting his last time up there. Diving stop to get George Springer for the first down of the fifth. looked like it had eyes for right field, but Naylor was there. Great play. Fly to deep right field. Back goes Lucas at the wall. Goodbye. Third home run of the game for the Mariners, blasting their way through game two. They lead it nine to three. It’s the third hit of the game for Josh Naylor, who has shown all the things that he brings. It’s the bat to ball, the stolen base, and now the power at a stadium where he went deep when he was a high schooler. Now is a big leager. Josh Naylor leads off this inning. Here’s a highf fly ball deep center field. Vo to the track. Verso to the wall. It’s gone. Josh Naylor goes deep and the Mariners are on the board first. Well, left it up and it was a question of whether or not this man was going to rob it. And just outside the glove and another good start here at home for Seattle. Here he comes with an 02. Punch left side and through. And Naylor’s got both hits for Seattle. They’re trying to keep the perfect uh yo-yo going. Three hits, no hits, three hits, no hits. Two hits tonight. Hey, there’s a third level trends continue. Yeah. Josh Naylor starts the fourth for Seattle and swats one to left field. Lucas won’t get there. Cuts it off on a bounce. Holds Naylor to a single. Lucas with a great job right there to save 90 ft. But Naylor’s got a lead off hit. One out and he offers to Josh Naylor who lines the ball over the middle of the infield and down in left center of base hit. He squared up that one for a one-out single. Varo throws it into the cut off man Andres Jimenez. Here he comes to Josh Naylor with a highf fly ball to deep right field. There goes the shut out. Naylor goes very deep and makes it 5-1. The Missaga kid for the second time in this series goes deep at Rogers center and it’s 5 to one. First pitch off speed hanger and he just gets the barrel out and he knows it. But again with two outs here, attack, attack. And if you can’t get him out attacking, then he will come out to get you. But it’s not the end of the world. Ground ball right side past Guerrero. Here comes Rodriguez. Barger has a cannon, but the throw is laid and Seattle is on the board in the first inning of game seven. Josh Naylor drives in Julio Rodriguez and the Mariners take advantage of the leadoff double. That’s only their fifth run not by a home run with runners in scoring position. So they rely on the long ball for sure, but that hit right there got him a a run that could when you get on the road, you want to get ahead and again dim the crowd.

Tridents up for Josh Naylor! 🔱
