I irrationally will never forgive Joe Maddon for robbing Hendricks of a Game 7 WS Win by pulling him too early
Thank you for all the lessons Professor. We will never forget them, or you.
You know… *sniff* maybe there is crying in baseball
Think he signs a one day and retires a cub?
Obviously the WS win was the highlight of 2016, but I’ll never forget watching Hendricks close out the NLCS.
Just an absolutely dominant performance. Zero chance we were losing that night.
That’s my ~~quarterback~~ pitcher!
Got to watch him pitch a gem in Anaheim against the Twins this September. 7IP 4H 1BB 6K 0ER
I enjoyed watching him pitch more than anyone in the 16 season.
My only regret is that he wasn’t able spend his entire career as a Cub. Well… that and Maddon pulling him from game 7.
I love this. ⚾🧢
He is such a stand up person too. When I worked security at Wrigley, he remembered all of the worker’s names and made it a point to say thank you to all of us and have genuine conversations. I am going to miss the Professor.

Damn. I’m buying another kyle auto today
Thank you, Professor!
💙♥️ Give Kyle a 1day contract or his own day at Wrigley like Rizzo had. Let Cubs Nation give him a proper retirement send off & thank you. And in the 2016 season, doesn’t that seem appropriate?
I was at NLCS 2016 Game 6 and remember when he came to the plate to bat in the 7th and we all lost our damn minds. Then in the top of the 8th we did it again when he was pulled. Thanks Kyle. ⚾️❤️
Thank you Professor…🐻
Not only was he my favorite pitcher during his prime, but I think he may be the last real control pitcher we ever see.
As I used to love saying.
Everybody’s favorite pitcher can shut out a world class offense, but only my favorite pitcher could do it without cracking 90mph.
