Sean Payton Rightly Predicted That the Chiefs Are a ‘First-Half’ Team

I called this game for weeks. The Broncos just match up well against the Chiefs … almost as if they were constructed to beat them 🤔
Uhhhh what about that game gave the Chiefs being a “first half team”? They played better in the 2nd half, we just made a few more plays then them
5d chess, 5d chess
I feel like Payton kinda just fucks around and it keeps working. There’s obviously some actual strategy involved in it, but it seems like he calls these games to do the absolute bare minimum required to win and nothing more.
This isn’t a criticism btw; kind of just a funny observation
Can someone explain to me how the chiefs are a first-half team? And how SP knew it? And what makes the broncos a 2nd half / 4th quarter team? (football newbie here)
>Vance Joseph and the Broncos defense decided to load the box and force Mahomes to throw it, which, admittedly, was a very bold decision, but it paid off. Mahomes threw it 45 times on Sunday, but had just 276 yards. His 6.1 average yards per attempt was his third-lowest total in the past two seasons.
Vance Joseph nut-tapped Patrick Mahomes and dared him to do something about it. Mahomes’ response was ineffective.

Dude isn’t shit when he’s not getting his flags.
