After the game, Doc kind of said that they had just made the decision that you were going to be coming off the bench now and going to start playing a little bit more just to kind of have Doc let you know and and make an impact in that first game. How good did that feel? Um, you know, it feels good. Um, you know, especially as you get out there, you know, be able to hoop with the guys and then, uh, you know, it was an important game, so for us to get a cup in, you know, that makes things even better. So, um, definitely looking forward to it, but um, you know, a lot more work to do. Um, I mean, you’ve been doing this a long time. So, what’s your process, I guess, with stay ready kind of moments, stay ready groups as your I don’t know if you had if you waited this long, I guess, to get this kind of minutes, but like how have you kind of stayed in the moment to be prepared for for, you know, just being professional, just coming in, doing a job, putting the work in each and every day. Um, being a great teammate and just just staying engaged as possible, just trying to help my teammates out when I can. Um, let them know what I see on the floor and then, you know, when I’m not playing, being able to get my extra work, my conditioning in afterwards. You just got to stay ready. You never know when your name’s going to be called and then when it is, you have to be ready. You got to go out there, you know, produce. I know just looking at the lineup data, there’s a number of lineups that haven’t seen the floor at all this season. Um, I don’t know what you guys have done in practice and you got to play with those guys or not play with those guys, but just to try to find that chemistry in the middle of the game. How tough can that be? Um, I mean, it could be tough. I mean, we we understand our principles as a team, you know, no matter who’s out there on the floor. Um, we’re very versatile. We’re a very deep team, so we know it could be any different lineup at any point. And um you know, our principles stay the same. And uh we want to keep the floor space, move the ball, and um we know our shot profile and just continue to just uh plug and play. You know, it could be anybody. They we’ve been saying it every uh since the beginning of training camp. It could be anybody’s night, any uh any night. So, just got to stay ready. How do you carry over into tomorrow? Um we got to go home, get some rest, uh and then come back. You know, Lakers team, we’re going to be trying to get a win as well. And we know we went to the street together, you know, a few wins. You know, we’ve been win one, lose one, win one, lose one the past few games. So, uh, you know, it’s an emphasis for us to go out there and try to get another one, especially at home. So much of the offensive attack is built around the big fella and just trying to get three-point shooting around him. How important is it to have a quick trigger with him? Like there’s a couple passes tonight where it goes up immediately from you in the corner. Um, I mean, you know, I mean, the you going to see the play. I mean, he has a he he has a lot of gravity out there. a lot of eyes are on him and uh when he makes that pass, you know, sometimes that’s just the best shot and you know, instead of just, you know, second guessing yourself or driving back into the defense, you know, the you got to knock down those three so we could keep the floor open for Big Fellow.
