The play in ot was incredible. Vintage Tavares. Reminded me of a similar play with his old team against Philly.
Before this season, I was on the fence about Tavares as a future Hall of Famer. But with his leadership and consistency, especially in the face of all of these injuries and adversity, and with the massive pay cut he took, he has fully demonstrated why he deserves that ultimate honour when his career comes to an end.
He’s been exceptional and has been as productive as ever.
Much needed
Take that belt away until we start doing something actually good. Bunch of belt nonsense for wins we should be picking up easily. Embarrassing. Shoutout JT for leading us off a losing streak though.
