I can’t help but wonder what this season might have looked like if we had a healthy Nolen all year. Given how deep in the first we were picking, busts are a plenty, and maybe due to injuries he still ends up going that way, but every time he’s on the field he looks like precisely the type of player we’ve been missing.
Was also nice to see Ojulari at all, and for him too not look too rusty either. He didn’t wow, but he looked like he did before the injury, a solid defensive piece to have available.
As good as Sweat and Campbell have been, I have to say Tomlinson has been equally disappointing, perhaps the most disappointing signing off the offseason.
Another week where Darius and Melton looked over matched was unpleasant, but I think Melton can be a solid piece for us, he just needs to be CB 2 behind Wil, whenever Wil is out and Max has to guard the WR1 he seems to get embarassed. Not sure what to do about Darius, he’s improved over the course of the season, but his ceiling appears to be a mediocre DRT, and he can’t even seem to consistently hit that. Does he need to be repositioned ala-Reddick, or is he just a bust? I guess we’ll see.
Didn’t watch the game last night. Did Walter Nolan pass the eye test?
I love Walter Nolen the third ♥️
Poor Darius man he’s always in the 40s range. I know we drafted him as a defensive edge but I feel like he got moved to DT because of his speed so it could just be he’s playing out of position.

Cutting UDFA NT Simmons to keep back to back top 10 worst graduated player in the league Mustipher is another masterclass from this coaching staff. Meanwhile Simmons learns from Vita Vea in Tampa
