How do we feel?

  1. Nervous.
Also not looking forward to my buddy’s shit talking if we lose.

Of course, he’s probably feeling the same.

  2. I mean they lost their best 2 players on defense so better than I thought at the beginning of the season.

  3. I feel great! If you want to make the playoffs, this is what the playoffs is like. Good teams and hostile environments. Go treat them like Green Bay. #KeepPounding

  4. Going into it assuming we lose. But theoretically its a shootout with their defense being so injured. Hopefully Canales keeps the playbook open like he did against the falcons.

  5. Could be an ugly matchup for us defensively. CMC and Kittle are probably gonna eat, especially if Wallace and Rozeboom aren’t healthy. If the offense can keep it close we might have a chance, similar to the Cowboys game

  6. Maybe I have the wrong mindset, but as long as we come out of this without a major injury, I’m ok with W,L, or tie. Want to be as healthy as possible for the upcoming 2 TB games

  7. Depends… will last week Bryce show up? Or will “100y-0td-1int” shows up?

I truly hope Bryce finds some consistency, as thats what change “let him go” to “pay him asap”…

Rest of the team depends on it. Our defense plays good, when they have time to rest. Offense plays good, when we are not run only.

  8. Panthers are historically bad in prime time games. We have a chance, but more often than not we play like dog-water during prime time games… something similar to our saints performance.

I’m optimistic if BY plays, but cautiously optimistic since we have a history

  9. SF needs this game more than us. Getting beat by the Panthers on MNF, at home, would be a huge setback for them. The pressure is on them.

Meanwhile, nobody expects us to fly across the country and beat SF, just like nobody expected us to beat Green Bay. Nobody expected us to lose to the Saints.

This team is wildly inconsistent, and anything can happen. I think we give them a good game, but in the end we don’t have the defense to stop them. Remember, Penix was picking us apart, and it took OT to beat Cousins.

Let’s have fun, and give the country a good game on MNF. Looking professional and competitive would be a win.

My prediction is a close game where SF plays tight and we have nothing to lose, but in the end we can’t stop that final drive. We don’t have an answer for CMC.

  10. Our chances of making playoffs are slim, but a win here gives us a chance. Loss here rules us out I think

  11. They’re more talented, better coached, and playing at home. It’s also our anathema; a prime time game.

    They’re also more injured.

Feels similar to Green Bay in that they have a very narrow window to make this work.

As usual, I’m going hopeful but expecting to take my medicine.

  12. Measuring stick game. Playoffs on the line and we’re in front of a national audience. Fingers crossed with the extra days rest Bryce is good to go and can repeat some of what he did last week.

  13. Def winnable. Their defense is beat up, challenge is going to be their offense but we bottled up Green Bay and we beat Dallas in a shoot out so 🤷‍♂️

  14. If Bryce balls out I will be happy. Kinda think the 9ers would be a nightmare matchup for our defense even when we aren’t missing both of our starting ILBs.

  15. After the way this sub talked before the saints game, i know better than to buy into the hype. Honestly being able to beat atleast one of SF/LAR would be great.

  16. Actually kinda confident. If Bryce is the real deal, this is his first real chance to have a career defining game. He’s no longer a victim of circumstance and that is a MAJOR upgrade from last year.

  17. I think we can definitely win, but I am scared about the availability at LB idk if Wallace will be back and it sounds like rozeboom might be out too.

  18. A lot of negative comments on this post. Realistically the game is very winnable. If our offense shows up we will be good. If we control the ball and not turn it over we have a shot. 49ers are not a big play team so I believe our defense will hold up.

  19. Winnable game against a banged up team. Bryce has to show up and the defense has to hold but I think we can slip away with a victory. I’m not holding my breath though, CMC is playing his old team and if their run game gets going we’re gonna have a hard time playing the style of football that we can win.

  20. Either we escape Santa Clara like a thief in the night with a close last minute W or we get curb stomped. No in between.

  21. Bryce has the second best performance of his career, but everyone else shits the bed. We get stomped.
