Really? KP doesnt know what the fuck he’s doing? Color me shocked.
saints are just as bad, it was known the hitch/comeback route was a staple of kellen moore’s offense
this leads me to believe its the same playbook used this year
I know I’m in the minority but Hurts is part of the issue this year. Not seeing wide open receivers and it’s no coincidence that he hasn’t thrown over the middle much after a billion different coordinators
Zone eater routes, you either occupy a defender or two(best case) or have a guy sitting in an open spot(zone blitz).
Eagles are just spamming it too much and maybe it’s a QB preference
Wait wait wait hear me out. What if all of the hitch routes turn into real routes when we need it most or get to the playoffs? /s but I wish it wasn’t lol
I read that as bitch routes and I agreed.
I guess we don’t have the receiver talent to run a more varied tree. It’s sad, really holds us back.
Patullo is worst oc in the NFL he’s outta here next year
Having a revolving door at OC whether we win or lose, is really irritating.
As long as we have an elite defense and keep winning, we truly are going to continue being a victim of our own success for the foreseeable future.
Ultimately, Lurie and Howie have to form a better succession plan at the OC position, maybe instead of hiring just one OC, fill in the offensive quality control position with another play caller even if it’s from the collegiate level to groom under the OC for 1-2 years.
This is just how things are going to be with an offensive head coach that can’t design an offense well and can’t call plays.
I wonder if this hitch route frequency can be charted by game as I’d love to see how often it was run when the offense was clicking at MIN and vs NYG compared to when they couldn’t get it going these last two weeks.
