28-3 forever broke this team
They didn’t just get shafted, the took the whole Penix.
Bad karma to tell a guy he’s your starter and then treat him like a bridge/backup
FRICK!
Fuck. The. Falcons.
YOU LIKE THAT?!
Overpaid for a mediocre qb coming off an injury whos never won shit. Brady made everyone forget about Father Time too. Most qbs falling off a cliff around 37.
I don’t mind penix, but injury prone in college.
Forget how to run a balanced offense with a 1A RB and play there 2A power back in any big moment of second half instead.
Can’t even compete to win the sorriest division in the NFL
Not exactly QB Hell. They just ignored injury concerns for both QBs then got bit immediately.
They can be out of Cousin’s contract next year and free up 20m immediately. There are some quality bridge QB’s for less than 20m.
IMO Atlanta would be a prime location to try a retread QB. Decent line and great skill players. Much like the Colts this year.
Guys like Aidan O’Connell, Jacoby Brissett, Malik Willis, Mac Jones, or Jimmy G.
Retreads, guys who failed somewhere else, for sure. But given the right environment any of the above might turn into a bridge QB.
