So, if you feel it’s for you, it’s definitely worth checking out. But, let’s get to this one between the Indiana Pacers and the Charlotte Hornets. I looked at this game and I was hoping that I didn’t have to do the video for it, but you know what? We cover every game every day here at Pick Dogs from the NBA. So, we’re going to still talk about it. Just feels like the toilet bowl between two teams that are combined 5 and23 this season. Just didn’t expect it to be the Indiana Pacers who are 1 and 13, 5-9 against the spread this season. They’re coming in off of their eighth straight loss, 12712. They lost to the Detroit Pistons. The Charlotte Hornets, they fell short against the Toronto Raptors 110 108. They did cover for the second straight game and third in their last four. But again, it was another loss. They fell a 4-10 this season, seven and seven against the spread. And it was a game where Charlotte was in it nip and tuck the entire way. Ryan Caulkrren was blocked by Brandon Ingram late. You had a late block from Scotty Barnes. And uh Toronto ended up escaping with the win there. But like I said, it was not for a lack of trying for the Charlotte Hornets. I mean, this was a team that was battling the entire way and it was, you know, a two-point game going into the fourth and it finished a two-point game. And, you know, I think Charlotte, if they can stay healthy, that’s the thing for this Charlotte Horns team is if they can stay healthy, if you can keep LaMelo Ball in the lineup, if you can keep Brandon Miller in the lineup, this is going to be a Charlotte team that I think slowly and steadily improves as the seasons go on and as these guys get game experience and chemistry going. But when guys are in and out of the lineup, it’s hard to establish that. No team will tell you more than that than the Indiana Pacers right now, who are obviously missing Tyrese Hallebertton. But I’ll tell you, this team has a laundry list of injuries that just keeps growing and growing and growing as the days go by. I mean, you look at the Indiana Pacers coming into this game. I mean, the injury report, Johnny Fury is still out. Quentyn Jackson’s out. Cam Jones is out. Aaron Naymith is out. You know, Obie Toppin’s out. They still have Pascal Seakum. They still have Andrew Nemar. They still have TJ McConnell. That’s all well and good, but it’s just not what it needs to be for the Pacers to have some success. And you’re really seeing the drop off without Hallebertton and without all these guys in the lineup. Now, maybe this is a Golden State Warriors situation where the Warriors had a down year and they were able to select a high draft pick. Same thing with the Philadelphia 76ers. Had a down year because of injuries and they got to select VJ Edgecom, which has paid early dividends for them this season. The problem is that for right now, I just feel like the Indiana Pacers feels like a little bit of a lost cause for them this season. And while I think it could be telling for some that the Indiana Pacers are a slight home favorite here, for me, I’m just I’m I think it’s just, you know, I I just I can’t get there with the Indiana Pacers. I think the Charlotte Hornets, especially with the health situation, you know, with LaMelo Ball back in the lineup, it’s just it’s going to be a better situation for him. They’re still waiting for Brandon Miller. Trey man is listed as doubtful. Um Josh Green’s out. Liam McNeely, but I just think that the Charlotte Hornets with LaMelo Ball are always going to have a chance to win against teams that are on their level or below their level. And unfortunately for Indiana, I feel like Indiana is below their level. It’s not a game I’m rushing to the window to bet full transparency on Wednesday’s card, but I’ll lean towards the Hornets here. Maybe it’s a fade of the Indiana Pacers more than anything else, but for me, I’m going to roll with Charlotte here, and that’s going to be my free pick.
