Canucks for as long as I have watched them
Are better on the road. There is no home advantage and the pressure is inescapable until they are free to play elsewhere

He certainly isn’t the reason we lose games
Just imagine a Petey rounding into offensive form and having two actually legit 1st-line wingers on his line for once, like Keller, Kempe, Guentzel, Bratt, Rantanen level guys…one can dream.
The guy is on pace for 74 points while having to be a selke tier defensive carry for the team. Worth every penny
The problem is, Petey doesn’t shoot if he doesn’t think there’s a chance the pure shot goes in. I think if he even shoots 25% more, the chaos his shot generates could create more offense than he thinks, I’m also drunk so what do I know.
You all owe Petey an apology.
Despite the 75% shooting percentage, 4 shots in 3 games is not what you want to see from your 1C.

Team isn’t getting shots as a collective.
I get we want him to shoot more but I really don’t care for senseless shots. If the Canucks were playing better offensively as a team we’d probably see 3-4 shots a game from him right now. Fact is we can barely get out of our zone so our top guys need to make most of their chances, and defences have a lot of attention on Petey.
I know people will point to Quinn, but Petey can’t skate like Quinn lol

Our shooting % on this road trip has been ridiculous.
He’s looked good lately. He’s going to the net more trying to create offense. He’s been great defensively.
I seem to recall tochet complaining when Petey missed the net on the PP with his one timer, and gradually over time he wasn’t shooting anymore Hrmm….
I also think Petey waits for the perfect play way too much. It’s no coincidence most of his goals are gems.
