[Highlight] Bengals QB Joe Flacco on the late hit from TJ Watt:

“That’s football. He did a good job, he buried me in the turf.”

  1. Flacco is a gem. I really wish he’d gotten a longer run somewhere outside the division.

  2. I was at the game at the far end of the stadium, was it really a late hit? They didn’t show any replays at the time.

  3. This guy spent years getting his ass beat in the AFC North during the good old days. He can handle it. Funny I remember back in those days when those AFC North games were absolutely brutal that was when people were saying the league was all wimpy / pussified (I guess compared to the 70s or whatever). I don’t know. Saw some serious shit back then.

  4. I can’t even begin to describe my hatred for him in Baltimore. Now, as he makes his AFC North circuit, he has grown on me. That said, he’ll obviously sign a one day deal with the Ravens when he retires and I’ll go back to hating him for one day.

  5. Suggs, Reed and Lewis? Easy to hate and/or easy to be annoyed by their talent. Flacco? Couldn’t do it then. Can’t do it now.

  6. It wasn’t a “late hit”, though. It was roughing the passer, presumably for landing with his weight on him.

  7. the filter applied on this video makes it look like it’s part of an in memoriam for Joe Flacco

  8. We should sign this guy next year, just for the memes about playing for all 4 teams in the division

  9. After he spent years getting clobbered by James Harrison and Troy, Im sure he can handle it lol

  10. Sad state the NFL is in. He’s right, “that’s football.” And “football” in this case meant “penalty.” I know they have to protect players, but at what cost to good defensive play?

  11. An iron man of the league. He remembers what the late 00’s/early 10’s Steelers could do to a man
