    1957 was the only Championship for Hank, a season that also saw him win the NL Most Valuable Player award.

    This was also the first World Series since 1948 that a team from New York did not win.

    The series featured 10 future Hall-of-Famers: Hank Aaron, Red Schoendienst, Warren Spahn, Eddie Mathews, Casey Stengel, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, Mickey Mantle, Enos Slaughter, plus umpires Jocko Conlon & Nester Chylak.
