The frustrating thing for fans is a) the Sixers are awful with their communication and b) we have seen how good the team can look.
I understand why Embiid and PG are paid what they are paid. Salary doesn’t change biology. I also understand that we are paying them to win in May not to have the best regular season record. But, the act of getting to playoffs is going to be painful and full of ups and downs.
I just really hope we see Embiid and PG in Milwaukee. Otherwise we likely lose tomorrow.
They are going to be a middle of the pack team until their two other max players are off the books*

Honestly, they ought to be considering taking filler for Embiid or George at this point
And of those who regularly play, Oubre is on the verge of 30, and the next oldest guy is 25 so mistakes are expected.
Coming into the season the bar for me with this team was really low. So far, they’ve still been exciting to watch and winning a few games
Fun team with low expectations? I’ll take it. I’m not out here expecting them to go deep in the playoffs this year
Tyrese Maxey minutes are terrifying, and Edgecombe is similarly very high.
i am shocked that it is even possible for a human to have the immense brainpower required to come up with such an innovative and unique opinion
I’m just happy they aren’t a public embarrassment any more. Now we are a fun scrappy team but not a very good/great team.
The only way around this is if Maxey’s shooting cools off a little and we’re actually a lower end of the pack team. We’re so so reliant on him, nobody else can really create offense
He’s not wrong, but it’s funny because when we were 4-0 people were pre-upset that they would come in and mess up the flow of the offense and take shots away from the young guys.
Now we’re begging them to come back soon, lol.

Is Embiids minute restriction intended to last all year?
Expecting the Sixers to play lights out missing key players is a recipe for disappointment.
Embiid and PG playing consistently ks what gives the Sixers a chance to have a very good season and rack up wins.
We’re watching a competitve and resilient team playing this year and not at full strength yet.
If we had Embiid or PG play in some of those games we lost, we’d be 11-3 at worst right now.
Mostly close losses and we’re not even at full strength with key players with 60+ games left.
The Team can absolutely improve and end up have a much better record this season.
If they cut their turnovers in half they win tonight.
