LA Dodgers manager Dave Roberts arriving in his birthplace (Naha, Okinawa, Japan) yesterday on the 19th with great fanfare.

  1. If I’m reading this right, it seems like the women that Dave Roberts hugged there in the early parts of the video were his relatives (aunts) living in Okinawa.

  2. It’s nice no one is throwing eggs at Roberts like South Korean did at Incheon Airport. He is getting warm welcome in Okinawa, Japan.

  3. Yakyu! The new exhibit in Cooperstown is awesome. The first thing you see is a recreation of a 16th century suit of great-armor given to the former owner of the Dodgers. It’s great.

  4. Wish he spoke better Japanese, but it’s so nice him going there in the off season!!

    We so proud!
