Jaquan McMillan is a future pro bowler in my opinion

  1. That was one of the coldest picks I’ve seen in my life given the context of Barrons pick 6 being called back. Ball don’t lie.

  2. He’s always been a playmaking nickel corner. Ever since his rookie year in that KC game where we snapped the long ass losing streak, JMac has always balled out. He’s got a nose for the football – sacks, forcing fumbles, and snagging picks – that we honestly haven’t had in awhile (maybe since Roby?).

I don’t think he’s super sticky in coverage, he’s had his fair share of lapses (see the ATL game last year). But he’s a damn good DB and is far outplaying his salary on the ERFA tender. He’s definitely underrated but he’s been doing what he always has.

I’d love for Denver to bring JMac back at original round or 2nd round tender as an RFA next year, but also… I think Barron could be really, really good. He’s obviously unproven but there’s a reason why we drafted him EVEN with JMac penciled in as the nickel corner. Either way, I’m enjoying what JMac has been doing this season and I hope he keeps this play up!
