My auto default answer is always root for a division rival to lose. However the Bills are also in the hunt for the wildcard and we might benefit from them losing either. Maybe hope for a tie?!

  1. Buffalo. What kind of a question is this?

Indy v KC is the real motherfucker. We’re in total control of the WC spot. If Indy falls off a cliff we can be set up for AFC South.

  2. Buffalo for sure. Our eyes shouldn’t be on the 5th seed anyway, we control our own destiny for the division.

  3. You can make a good case for both. We could potentially overtake the Bills in the WC. But the Texans could still overtake us.

Its very hard to root for the Texans and the idea of losing our playoff spot to them makes me want to vomit. Go Bills.

  4. Buffalo. Fuck the Texans. Fuck Al-Shaair.

Also we’re winning the AFCS. Let’s put some distance between us and the Texans.

  5. Always root against the division rival.

But where is that playoff simulator guy?

EDIT: His site says root for Buffalo https://footballsensei.com/teams/jaguars

  6. We should be gunning for the division

I dislike Buffalo, but I HATE the Texans

Even if there’s no benefit to us, it’s always nice to see the Texans lose

A Texans loss means they could play harder vs the colts. We should be rooting for a Texans vs colts split

Colts having to come to everbank in the playoffs would give us a massive edge given their history here

  7. Why would anyone be rooting for anything other than the thing that gets us closer to winning the division!? Wildcard spots are for teams good enough to make the playoffs & just able to squeak in. Division winners are your contenders.

Of course I’d be happy to make the playoffs any way possible. But right now, when the division is still within absolute reach, especially considering we play them twice & how tough their schedule is, why root for anything other than winning the division.

Never underestimate how important hosting a playoff game is at home. It quite possibly was the difference in ‘22 and making that comeback. I’m not sure that comeback is made if the team went down 27 in Los Angeles.

  8. Buffalo probably in the WC regardless because Josh Allen is the QB. So Bills so they bury the Texans

Colts/KC game is interesting cause you can argue both ways on what benefits us more lol

  9. Always root against the Texans, Colts, Titans. If any combination of those teams are playing each other, root for the tie.

  10. My personal rooting priority

    1) root for the jags

    2) root for eagles (went to school in Philly and my nfc team)

    3) root for Buffalo (wife’s favorite team)

    4) root for whoever is playing against the rest of the afc south. If the afc south is playing each other, it depends based on who is currently in the lead of the division and by how much, how recent Texans fans were being little bitches, and how pitiful the titans are at the moment.

    5) root for whoever is playing the chiefs – though depending on how insufferable the media and chiefs fans are being, I could be convinced to root for an afc south rival over them. More likely to root for the meteor.

    6) root for whoever is playing the cowboys.(Americas team my ass)

    7) root for whoever helps us in the playoff hunt for a better seed.

  11. I dont care if it benefits the Jags, I will never root for the Colts, Titans, or especially the Texans.

  12. I root for the defense.
I want both teams to lose, so I will just be rooting for sacks and takeaways and chaos.

  13. Buffalo not even a question. I hate the bills and the other Josh Allen, but I never want to see any team in my division succeed that isn’t from Jax. This week bill mafia grows. And KC fans are mahomies

  14. Buffalo. Jags have breakers on the Chargers and Chiefs. Let Bills grab the other WC and have them beat the Texans.

  15. There is almost no reason to root for the Texans. They are creeping right behind us and a loss guarantees we stay ahead. Sure Buffalo is looking at a wildcard spot but that doesn’t matter to us because we’re gonna win the division when the Colts go through the Gauntlet of the remainder of the schedule they have

  16. This is your friendly reminder that none of this matters if we don’t win our own games.

Having said that; Buffalo. Fuck the tinhorns.

  17. The two guys in this picture. They are my fantasy RBs. Otherwise, i live in H and only root for underdogs (see jags fan). Go bulls

  18. Buffalo. The division may be out of reach so the wildcard should be our best bet. Houston is still
hanging around so Buffalo beating them will help us.
