Throwback to when Tyreek shared about Mahomes cussing out the entire WR room years back.

We’re not going to get more than the positive messages the organization puts out about “better effort, coming together, fighting through adversity, etc.” (i.e. the standard sports cliche stuff). But I 100% guarantee there are some SERIOUS dress downs happening behind closed doors right now.

The issue with that now is that Mahomes also has issues. So he can’t really yell at his guys and call them out right now without calling himself out.

Mahomes has always had the Mamba Mentality and I hope he’s doing it to his guys this year too.
We all know Mahomes works harder than anyone on the team every year (except a few rookies really fighting to make the team). He’s always the first guy in and he’s mentioned when others have gotten there before him. He’s also the guy to shoulder the blame even when it’s not really his fault. It’s always about what he can do better.
And that attitude and accountability is what allows him to act this way in the locker room because he’s never projecting his failures on others or calling them out publicly. He’s standing on business in the locker room.
Exactly how it should be. QBs hold their players accountable in private and then take all the blame in front of the press.
The tape doesn’t show blame on the WRs… Mahomes was gun shy

Remember during that first superbowl winning season when you’d see him rallying the troops on the sideline? He doesn’t do that anymore (and hasn’t for a while). I don’t know if after winning the superbowl once, he doesn’t feel like doing it anymore, or someone told him to chill TF out, or what.
Can he scream at himself for being entirely mid?
I’m also missing Kelce getting on peoples asses on the sidelines or in the game. Unfortunately, I think the haters bashing him for it got to him, because I think it DID make a difference.
Tyreek Hill and Prime Kelce are far better weapons than anybody we have on the team right now. This current team has 36 year old Kelce, Rashee Rice as our 1 and then just a bunch of guys. Ever hear the saying, you can’t draw blood from a stone? The old receiver and TE room had more to give. Not sure this room has more to give.
i hope he chewed out Rashee for those 2 dropped passes. those drops cost them the game imo
People are so down on Patrick here after 2 bad games. He’s always struggled against the Broncos, its just we usually won because they’ve fielded terrible offenses for most of his career, and the Broncos are the best defense this year. And the Bills was a flashback to last year with 0 offensive line help. Did people forget that he was the leader in the MVP race a few games ago?
Not trying to say that he doesn’t have things to correct; he absolutely does. But so many are acting like he’s the reason we suck right now when he’s only had 1 objectively bad performance IMO.
I hope hes been laying into Worthy. Year 2 big dog, you need to be able to track the deep ball and it might be time to hit the weight room.
He’s definitely his own worst enemy.. is already beating himself up on the inside. Now just do better and move on!
