Uhhhh….this is a reversal, in September it was reported that Joey and Jesse were staying on after the Walter sale. Jesse is one of the best scouts on the team. I’m not too pleased about this news.

As a Dodger fan I canāt question Mark Walterās willingness to find incredibly competent people to run teams but Joey and Jesse Buss have been the two who have been credited with finding the under the radar players like Caruso, Zubac, Reaves. By all accounts theyāve been good in their roles.

Imo a big loss. They were a prominent and strong part of the actual talent in the FO. I’m no Rob hater or lover, but the Buss brothers have done an excellent job finding NBA talent throughout the draft and done a good job in the G-League. This felt like writing on the wall given their position of the sale though.
First big test for Walter is their replacements. Go find the best talent in the field and pay more than their current employers.
