Would any of you like to see him in the halos lineup? I think he would be a great fit for us

I want him.
I think 15 mill/year for 4-5 years would be perfect. Supposedly he wants to play for angels so let’s use some of that Taylor ward money we saved and put it on okamoto.
Yep the image has the word “Breaking” encapsulated in red therefore… *takes a huff of hopium and lithium* he will be an Angel.
This is a no brainer imo. He reportedly wants to play here, which is a big one, since many players probably won’t. He’s a very well rounded hitter and can play a quality 3B or 1B, and maybe even some OF. Likely won’t have to give him more than 4 years, and won’t be crazy expensive on AAV. I’d be disappointed if we didn’t get him, unless another team massively overpays.
That would be great! Like if the Angels got our very own Ohtani.

From what I’ve seen (which isn’t a lot) he’s a good player and is versatile. Hopefully he joins the team!
These guys all saw what happened with Ohtani. Why on earth would they want to come here if a contender offers similar?
Yeah he’s the top of my wishlist. Little bit safer of a profile than the other Japanese corner IF getting posted this year, and a better defender than most of the MLB FA available
