THE HERD | Colin Cowherd PREDICTS, Denver Broncos Will LOSE SUPER BOWL This Season | NFL

Now we go to the divisional round. I would take Denver over Buffalo. Denver at home off a buy. Shawn Peyton, offensive coach, off a buy. First of all, the Bills can’t stop the run between Bonig Bonick’s legs and the run game. I think it’d be death by a thousand cuts. Colts Patriots, Daniel Jones regression, cold weather. I’m going to take New England. I don’t trust Daniel Jones in this spot. I think New England pressures the quarterback. I’ve watched Daniel Jones with a little pressure. I I know what I get. Uh now, Patriots, Broncos, I’m taking Denver. More playmakers on both side of the ball, more elite players in their prime. If you look at recent history, offensive coach against defensive coach in divisional round and conference championships has favored the offensive coach. Denver to the Super Bowl as of today. Now, Baltimore and Kansas City today are not in the AFC playoffs. Maybe that changes things, but the matchups, that’s where I would go. Super Bowl Rams over Denver. Again, I get the veteran quarterback, two great defenses. The Rams are the least penalized team in the league. The Broncos are the most penalized team in the league. In close games, that stuff matters. Stafford McVey win their second Super Bowl together. As of now, Baltimore Chiefs could make the playoffs. I would take Denver. Wow. Colin Coward coming in hot, taking the Denver Broncos. And Bo Knicks, the team that needs a quarterback. Colin said they have a Bo Knicks problem. He said that they need to draft a quarterback. That’s what he said. Now he’s got them in the Super Bowl, but still falling to the Los Angeles Rams. Um, man. I don’t even I don’t even know where to begin with this one. Um I wonder if Colin believes that this is the way this would unfold if this offense continue to look exactly how it has or Bo Nicks has played exactly how he has played. if he thinks that that would be sustainable. I know he doesn’t think that’s sustainable for the Philadelphia Eagles, for instance. Um, and the Philadelphia Eagles obviously won the Super Bowl last year. So, if the Broncos continue to play exactly how they’re playing, then yeah, I think that would be um it’s a tougher road in the playoffs and the margin of error is even is even smaller. Um, and even if they were fortunate enough to get into the playoffs or excuse me, obviously they’re going to be in the playoffs, but fortunate enough to get to the Super Bowl and all of that, um, you’re going to need some elevation unless that defense really can just continue to just hold teams to just 10 points, you know, like if you keep doing that, then, you know, that’s a different story. But to me it to me the whole thing is is if Boone Knicks can build off of the momentum that he has building right now and the confidence that everything was shown against the Kansas City Chiefs. If there can be a true step forward individually for Bon Knicks individually like it’s just you’re start we’re watching these games and we’re just like Bo looks settled. He just looks better and you just you just feel it. It’s just it’s just something you sense. I I felt that way when I watched Jaylen Herz week one against the Dallas Cowboys because for for the most part I’m looking at Jaylen and I’m like ah he’s he’s pretty much a complete product right now. Like this is who he is and you know this is the way the season’s going to go. And I saw him in week one and I went and I kind of got the chills because I was like this is so cool. I’m like he looks you know he looks better, he looks smoother, he looks smarter. That’s why he’s turned the ball over so much less, too. It’s like he’s a better decision maker. He’s more patient, you know? He’s more he’s more calm in the pocket. Like he’s just he just looks more confident. And you just like that’s this is so cool to watch. And obviously he’s got way more, you know, years under his belt and experience than than a Bo Knicks. But if you can have like a semblance of that where you’re just like this quarterback feels settled, he feels comfortable. He think he he just feels different right now and we can say ever since that Kansas City Chiefs game he just this is the quarterback that we truly believed we were getting when we got him. Um that happens then this Denver Broncos team really can become unstoppable truly. And it’s this is what I had said going into this season where I was just like, you know, you’re in a position now where if Bo Knicks can become the Bo Knicks that you’re hoping he to that he can become and take that next step. And again, this was after last season. I’m like, you went from not being in the playoffs for like a decade to like now competing for AFC Championships, Super Bowl, you know, and it was like we had all those conversations and it’s just like here we are now. You’re with a buy, you’re a game away from being in the AFC Championship game. And I remember saying that and I said, “And if you’re a game away from the AFC Championship game, then you’re you’re now a game away from the Super Bowl. If you’re in the Super Bowl, then you’re just a game away from being the Super Bowl winner, right? Like you’re you’re you’re right you’re right there. Um, and it’s just it’s just a a fascinating and super exciting place to be. Um, and to be fair though, for me right now, I feel all these teams have a sense of fragility. uh the Broncos, the Rams, the Eagles, like every team I see them and I see them as all slightly a bit of a house of cards where it’s just like in any given moment we truly can see the absolute best version of this team and like like on Sunday seeing Bo Knicks it’s like we saw just the absolute best version of Bo Knicks especially you know on that final draft like wow that is Bo Nicks but you have to be fair and you have to be honest you don’t see it all the time we haven’t seen it start to finish we haven’t seen it for stretches is, you know, throughout the season, etc., etc. And again, we can say those things about all these teams right now. And whereas last year, it just felt like we were getting uh more consistency with all the teams around, the Broncos included, Bon Knicks included, right? Um, and so that’s where my I I have such a lack of confidence in all of these teams because you’re just like there’s there’s just a fragility. Every team right now has that kind of Daniel Jones, Sam Darnold kind of like, yeah, they’re playing well, they’re playing good, but like I don’t know. And and it’s not just because of the quarterback. It’s for some for some teams it’s their defense. For some teams, it’s their offense. For some teams, it’s their, you know, their run game or their run defense, you know? It’s not, you know, it’s just that that general sense that a lot of people have had about like the Seahawks and the Colts or even the Patriots where you’re just like, “Yeah, they’re playing well, but like I don’t know. Can I trust it?” It’s like, again, you could say that about the Eagles. You could say that about the Chiefs. You could say that about the Bills, the Broncos, the Rams, just every team right now. It’s just that’s how I that’s my sense. That’s my feeling throughout the course of this season right now. Um and that’s why and for the Broncos, it is like Bo Knicks and it’s just like and and don’t get me wrong, as I’ve defended Bick throughout the whole course season, drop passes, play calling, all that type of stuff. I’m not I’m not putting this all on the shoulders of Bo Knicks, but he is the quarterback. So if there is that elevation of gameplay, right? If there is just missing those receivers on those deep balls a fraction less frequently, like just hitting that, you know, just ever so slightly more using your legs in a key m, you know, whatever may like again essentially what we saw against the Chiefs and continuing to do that now game after game, but also not just in the fourth quarter when you’re tied, right? Like doing it in the first quarter. And so now, gee, I don’t know, maybe you’re up 14-3, 14-7 going into the third quarter and you get the ball back and maybe you march down the field and like, I don’t know, you at least kick a field goal and you’re like, “All right, we’re we’re in we’re in good shape right now. We’re up two scores. Our defense is going to get to work, right? Like you’re just you’re just a little bit more in control of the game.” uh you know like that that’s that’s what if you can start to unlock that like the the the the sky is truly the limit here. So um things happen fast man in the NFL. Things happen fast in the NFL. One minute you’re moving on from the quarterback, the next minute you got them in the Super Bowl. Um the same thing can happen for the Rams. One minute Stafford is wheeling and dealing, the next minute his back is tweaked and it’s uh Jimmy Garopolo time or something, right? Like you just, you know, one minute the Eagles literally can’t score points, the next minute Jaylen Herz is having a perfect passer rating and throwing for 360 yards and four touchdown, you know, and you’re just like, what’s going on right now? So, um, that’s why right now consistency, I mean, it always is, but especially this season, that is a name of the game. I think probably right now, it’s probably technically a safer bet. There’s even if you had other teams that um had higher peaks of performances that they can do, I would I would be I would feel more comfortable for a team that’s not reaching anywhere close to that peak, but they’re consistent. Like if there’s teams that you know like the Rams or the Seahawks who can like put up like 40 some points but then like randomly like they’re throwing a million interceptions and can’t score 18 like we saw kind of with the Packers and again like the Eagles offense and whatnot. At this point it’s like I’d probably see it feel more comfortable with the team that defense gives up 21 points per game and their offense scores like 22 23 24 points per game but it’s consistent. It’s like you know this is a solid team. this is a good team. And then you’re just like because all these other teams you’re just like I don’t know what’s going to happen. Uh you if you can stabilize if you could just be more consistent. Boom. Boom. So it’s just crazy to see something like this. It’s uh you got to you got to be excited right now, but it’s it’s also got to feel a little bit of a feel a little bit of whiplash. Um yeah. I don’t know. I’ll just leave it at that. But those are just my thoughts. I’d absolutely love to hear yours. What do you guys all think about the Denver Broncos reaching the Super Bowl, but unfortunately losing the Super Bowl according to Colin Coward. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. 1. Colin went from

Sean you need to draft a new QB

    To
Bo nix and the broncos will be in the Superbowl,

    In 1 weeks time 😂😂😂
    Lord have mercy

    Im a broncos fan
I wouldnt mind losing to the Rams in the Superbowl obviously id be mad

But over all id be a happy Broncos Fan when its all said and done

  2. The worry to me is the penalties and drops. I think if they clean those things up, they can go to the SB. With that said, I believe the Rams are the most complete team. I don't see us beating them. I would be ecstatic about that as a fan because I believe that would put us a year or two ahead of schedule.

  3. This is such a unique year where there is no singular great team, or even a great team in each conference. It's completely wide open. There was always the feeling that the chiefs would be their. Before that, You had to beat New England, there was the the Dallas v San Francisco time and the NFC 13 SB game win streak. This is such a crazy time where there is no comfort in picking anyone. Maybe Philly.

  4. We saw a glimpse of what this team can do in the KC game. It was subtle… but it was there.

Did you see the 3 plays where Den called a play and was on the ball inside 10 seconds? 3 in a row. It’s was the first time we have seen that this, or even last year.

Basically our version of a hurry up offense.

That to me was a tell…

Sean didn’t do a 25 word play that kept us huddled for 15/20 seconds, swapping out 5 players, and then having to do a bunch of adjustments on the line.

We called a quick play (x3), did it, with very few subs, and moved the ball down field.

We do that more often we would surprise teams.

But… let’s be honest.. the D is the key to this team.

  5. I literally leave your channnel everytime you don’t show the video. Sorry man idk if you’re getting flagged but I’m a visual person I like your content but you should try showing the videos more

  6. IF we make it to the Super Bowl no matter how much I want us to win it I have a feeling we wouldn't. I've made this prediction twice before and was correct. The first time was with the Panthers Vs Broncos. Young team and young QB going into such a big game.. it's just hard and a lot of pressure. I can't remember who it was for the second team, but I was correct again. I would love to be wrong, but that is my feeling.

  7. If Chiefs are in the playoffs, Denver is not going to the SB. Rams is not going to FINALLY beat the Eagles 😂😂 these media heads Need it to Not be the Eagles so bad

  8. Rams would not be the best matchup for Denver, because they actually have an elite defense as well that can play on par with theirs. They also have experience all across the board pretty much everywhere, with even slightly better skill position players and weapons on offense. Their offensive line is also absolutely insane. I'm a Broncos fan saying this by the way, I think literally any other NFC team would be a better draw.

I'm not sure if I should be excited with the media leaning toward our side, but it is what it is.

    Go Denver!

  9. The Rams and the Patriots haven’t seen that Denver defense yet.

The Patriots have had the easiest schedule in the league and no one cares about that. Last year, that was the only thing anyone could talk about with the Broncos.

  10. Julian…. It's not crazy to see these to Teams in the Super Bowl at all being I pick ed the Broncos to Win13-14 games minimum in the regular Season and bet so and also Sports Bet 500 at a +4500 Odds on them to Win the Super Bowl months before the Regular Season started that is how sure this team can get there bottom line, but the team on the left in Colin's prediction the Broncos will Win it Period!
