NHL Highlights | Kraken vs. Blackhawks – November 20, 2025

Calgary Nazar against Baneers on the opening face off and this one’s underway. Glad to have you with us on Chicago Sports Network. Kraken with a puck played into the zone by Lingerin. Now Baneer is able to get to it in the corner all the way around as you see the lines brought to you by Old National Bank. How old is it? It’s old and they bring us the lines every night. Conard late in the shift run glove side this time but missed the net on the counter he’ll drop it off Montto works the puck in with a shot and Knight makes the save up to the corner Kaiser flips that in behind Rexel pressured by Everly want to play it in front that was cut off by Nar and here goes Moore he’s going to try and use that speed down the right side deep on Dun trying to play it in front that was blocked goes over to Batusi he’ll pass in front tipped on by Nar and Joey to court makes his first save of the game. Bernard Bernard misses on that wrist. Here’s the pass by Vertusi. Right to now he’s going to jump out there again. He’s going to be in the 25minute range here. The way this is going early and a shot by Alexiaak turned away by Knight. Alexiaak playing in his 700th career game tonight. Rest of the Hawks were changing. Now the support comes. They keep it alive. Here’s Kaiser with a bit of room and a shot and it’s stopped by the cord and he’s able to hang on. Hawks go back to back though. There’s a chance in front. We’ll get to that thought in a second after a turnover and a great look for Terravine and shut down by Joey Dory. Good for check in by Donado here. The the one time Seattle Kraken that had a tremendous year a few years ago on that fourth line with Seattle. That’s stopped by Knight. Archman gets the puck one more time for the slot. Veneers bumped away. Gonado reached in to back that away from danger at the last second. Give it up and a big save by Knight as Everly had a point blank chance after the turnover. Guy coordination by that guy. But two really good saves by Spencer Knight. Here’s Bernard with a steal. Locked it all the way across. Conor Bernard still on the puck. Oh, what a move to the blue line. Wrist shot. Stopped by the cord. Rebound. Green stopped by the cord. Chandler Stevenson gets the puck off the Mboards all the way back to the line. Here’s Larson. Good stick there. It’s broken up by Donado and away he goes. Ryan Donado has McKaya breaking down the far side. Donado with the shot. the corner. Cracked looking to open the scoring. He was there so he got down low. Here’s an auto shot. Does it go off the knob of the stick? Sure does. Carolina wins the faceoff. Classic plays the puck to the wing. Moore can’t quite get to it. He’s that fast. He’s so quick you can’t even you don’t even see him. That’s how fast he is. classic back to it. Long pass to Nazar. Here he comes. Threeon one. Nazar with a pass across. Vertusi scores. Welcome back Colin Vertusi. One nothing Hawks [Applause] [Music] from the own zone by Blic. Stretch pass all the way to the far blue line. And then Nazar makes a beautiful heel to toe little soft pass to Terrain who doesn’t have that stick that puck on his stick for a split second and he plays it right over to Vertusi. Vertusi just fires that in. Might have gone off the blade of the stick there. Veneers. No, it doesn’t. It just flutters off his blade. The goalie thinks it’s going to the glove. It goes to the high blocker and Bertusi’s got another one. It’s done spinning. Pocket picked. Here goes Connor Bernard. Will he try and pull away? He’s going to Bernard in time with a shot on this turn aside by the clip. Leon off over to Blic’s broken his stick. Fox tries to take advantage of Green in front. Psalic shot wide. Puck comes back to the point. Kept alive by Linov. Good hustle there all the way around to Blastic. He’ll drop it off for Bernard. Bernard walks the line, makes a move trying to shake Beners who has given his stick to Alexia. There’s a blocker save by the court. Classic gets the puck. Let’s take a look. Yeah, watch that stick in the middle. Here’s Lenov with a pass. Bernard Ste on goal. Stopped by the court. Bernard sticks with it. Great pressure. Fox power play. Well, on the road it’s only 66%. 66. Here’s a nice pass. Renel on a break. Right in stopped by the corn trying to backhand five hole. Renel the defenseman on a breakaway on the power play. He’s back in room with a chip that goes wide. Scooped up and clear down the ice. Oh, Renzel might have had a chance with that long reach to go to the back hand and then bring it back to the forehand cuz the goalender would have been swimming to the stick side. Lionov drops it off. Top unit on midway through the power play. Here’s Tervine halfway through this game. Hawks looking to build on a one- nothing lead. Oh, the cross. They score. What a pass from Verosi. He one hands it across the terra line and it’s two nothing Hawks. [Music] He’s got to be the best player in the NHL with one hand on his stick. If he’s not making a play on his knees, he’s making a play reaching. Focus on 59. As he reaches here, the D doesn’t expect that. Alexiac, not only does he play it to the front, he gets a lot on it. This is an amazing play by Verusi and look at Montour. He’s not ready for it. Alexiac had no idea that was coming. And why would you? Alexak thinks he’s got great position, but Bertusi doesn’t give up. And Terrain finishes it off. Tavana with a golden one helper. Bratusi with a golden one helper. And look at that grin on about that. How about that goal by Ryan? Sakamoose. Sakamoose. I mean, he drilled that one between periods. Ellie Tolbert quickly back over to Everly. Feeds it down low to Stevenson. Pass in front. Pinball’s on goal. Stopped by Knight. Rebound picked up by Everly. Pretty good roll. Leaned on by Bernard. [Applause] Montour. Good throw. Montour shoots. Change direction. They score. That bounced in off bodies in front. Sneaks past Knight on the shot by Brandon Montour. And it’s a one-goal game. And you go to the goal. Gudro with the pass to the middle. It hits two bodies in front. And at the end of the day, I believe that Tai Cartier is going to get it. Shot by Montour. You can see at the front of the net, it goes. Yes, it does. It goes maybe off of two players. And here’s the play that we thought was going to be an icing call. Montour right there. And one one linesman on the right had his hand up for icing. The one on the left waved it off. And then the Seattle Kraken take advantage of a floppy puck right there. And then off two bodies. And I I believe the young rookie Oscar Fisker Mogard is going to get his first NHL point. Can you drive from Calamazoo? Nope. We’re going to come all the way from Denmark. Denmark. Schwarz into the zone with a pass back. Stevenson shoots. Pad save. Got the rebound. Another pad save by Knight. That wasn’t V in disguise. Here’s a great saves here by Spencer Knight. The left pad. Now Stevenson’s got a little rebound attempt trying to flip it over. Doesn’t do so. And now Shane Wright able to get the puck as Grizzl lost his stick. Able to recover though as the puck’s worked up the far side. Evans scores. Seeing eye shot by Riker Evans sneaks past Spencer Knight and it’s tied. Innocent looking play but Riker Evans puts it on net. ends up going through a maze of players, but the former first round pick Shane Wright did a good job in the corner. They won some battles pass to Riker Evans. Let’s see if it hit somebody there. Did it hit maybe Shane Wright? H better look right here. Up right there. That’s where I thought it might have hit him, but no, I don’t think it did. And it didn’t look like it changed directions going down, but you can see the amaze of players from that angle. It looked like he had clipped his blade, but the goalender then reaches up, finds its way over now to Stevenson. Bounced in behind the net, played in front three. Shot stopped. Rebound comes across. Schwarz hit. Pass to Marsman. Evans. 10 seconds left in the power play. Montour carry towards the corner will play in front and score on the pass to Schwarz who tucks it in. It’s a power play goal and it’s a 3-2 Kraken lead with 218 to go and an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and the power play was clicking before for Seattle. Good puck possession and they’ve had it going downhill here in the third. I mean that for them they’ve had the energy. They’ve had the puck in deep. They’ve had puck control in the offensive zone. And this pass here is a thing of beauty. I mean Kaiser does not expect this to get through his legs. Schwarz doesn’t take his eye off it cuz this is a hard pass and Schwarz has got to keep that lower hand really firm and he does. And the flex of the stick says it all. 5 seconds to go. Takes a peek. He’ll try a long shot and that sails over top of the net and the Kraken with a big third able to come from behind and knock off the Hawks 3-2. [Music]

Jaden Schwartz scores the game-winner late in the third period to complete the comeback in a 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks.

  1. BIBLICAL sell job by the refs tonight. Sure the hawks played like ass in the third, probably because one of their best defensive wingers was nursing a concussion after the refs ignored a clear elbowing and only had 10 forwards, but let them lose on their own. Don’t call unbelievable calls with 4 minutes left. Don’t lie about calling an icing and then don’t blow it dead. Justin Kea and Jean Herbert need to suspended immediately pending investigation because this was simply an unacceptable showing.

  2. I haven’t even been watching hockey that long I could tell that the refs did a horrible job at calling that game. Yes the hawks played horrible in the third period where they’ve normally been their best, but that missed icing call was the start of the momentum shift for Seattle. Better luck tomorrow night hawks

  3. I don't mind losing but I hate it when the refs determine the outcome of the game with a number of bad calls. So did Bedard say a naughty word to the referee ?? What a joke

  4. только яйстребьі могут так красиво обгадится, вьіигривать 2-0, и проиграть 2-3…, нету у командьі не духа, не мощи…
