If you haven’t, we’ll catch you up. And then, of course, you know, Falcons do have a game this weekend. We’ll talk a little bit about, you know, that and how do they turn a must-win game that we’ve been discussing all week long here on Locked on Falcons and uh the Falcons Squad show on Locked on Sports Atlanta. How do they turn a must-win game into an actual uh you know, win game? So, we’ll get into all of that, guys, but we appreciate all of you that are everyday of this podcast. You are the reason why Locked On is the number one sports podcast network in the galaxy. And all you got to do to become an everydayer so that you can make this humble podcast your first listen each and every day is subscribe or follow for free on YouTube or wherever you listen to podcast. So, of course, I’m Aaron Freeman, joined today by Jarvis Davis of Locked On Sports Atlanta. And we’re Let’s get into this whole support system that Michael Pennix does or does not have. Again, that sort of viral clip. I’ve seen it everywhere. I’ve seen it on Twitter. I’ve seen it on Reddit. I’ve seen it on all the places. And we’ll paraphrase a little bit of it, but I believe one of the Falcons reporters, I believe it was Terren Walk, who asked, you know, Michael Pennix on Wednesday in his presser to the local media, you know, who do you lean on to help you? You know, are there former quarterbacks or coaches that are going to help you mentally and physically? And Mike basically answered, you know, mentally it’s his fiance. Uh, and nobody really physically for the onfield stuff. You know, he does have former quarterback coaches from back home that reach out to him that tell him to clean up certain things, but everybody is reacting and reading into the omission that Michael Pennix, when answering that question, did not name anyone inside the building. So, Jarvis, I’m sure you saw the clip. Yep. What do you make of that whole situation? I I think for me I felt like that question was kind of regurgitated and recycled to to him. So he kind of answered it in a different way. Um because he talked about you know early on in that in the press conference about where you know like about getting it right and doing the necessary things that he that his coaches had given to him to work on. Right. So I think by the time he was asked this question, he was talking about mentally and physically and he said mentally, you know, his his fiance as a married man. Yep. That would have probably been my answer too because I’m not I can’t depend on my coaches for 100% of who I am as a person, as me. like I just just not this not just not the case and it’s never been the case you know even when I played you know in college and stuff like that. So you have your support system, you have in life, and then yeah, the guys that are paid to coach you, they’re going to coach you. And I feel like he answered that question from a standpoint of his personal circle cuz he said he mentions it fiance, he said some his quarterback coaches, some people back home. Yeah. He he mentions his his his entire, you know, uh network of people that are there to support him so he can have success in life, right? And he just so happened to be playing ball. Why doing that? So, I just think people just went too far with it, you know, when it comes to taking like that small clip and coming to that conclusion. Um I can see how you come to that conclusion if you just watch that clip, watch the whole press conference. you kind of see how it morphed into a more personal, you know, uh, conversation, so to speak. And I think that these are the type of things when you get this type of backlash, it’s going to cause him to go into cliche mode, right? Like when people respond to a player being real, quote unquote real, and answering questions, like re like genuinely answering your questions and you get this type of response, this is going to be one of those deals where he’s going to be like, “Yep, I just go ahead and get 1% better every day. Yeah, you know, I work with DJ and you know, Kirk, you know, he helped me out all that stuff.” That’s that’s what that’s what you’re going to get. And and I think it’s it’s truly unfortunate because I feel like Mike is a a genuine dude and I think he was genuinely answering that question and for it to be twisted a little bit to make it seem like to justify how everyone’s feeling which is fire everybody. You know, I think it’s a little weak sauce, man. Like come on. Like let’s talk. If you want to fire Zack Robinson, fire him for not having a a counter for when people stop to run. Fire him for consistently being inconsistent on third downs or being awful on third downs. Like, let’s have that conversation. Don’t say, “Oh, he he don’t even he can’t even count on his quarterback coach. That’s why he needs to be fired.” No, no. He’s probably if he gets fired and let go at the end of the year or during the season, whatever, it’s because he was incapable of doing his job. You know, that’s it. That’s it, man. Stop coming up with all this other stuff, man. Cuz it’s super frustrating. And you know, just to give y’all a little peek into my my thought process in my mind, I sent a tweet out the the other day. Mhm. You know, and I said, “Yeah, X is a place for people who want to gather around and be miserable.” And I feel like this is a prime example of that. Like you really think that 12 to 13 second clip is the reason why somebody should be fired as a head coach or OC or whatever or special team coordinator, whatever. Like that that one clip that’s that’s what changed your mind, man. We got nine games of dog on proof of why we can come go to the tape, man. It’s plenty of reason you can find there to to to get rid of these some of these cats, right? and have that conversation. But to sit up here and just wallow and be all up in arms about that little clip, man, that’s that’s whack me. Yes, I understand. Travis, I I think you you you you make some good points. You mentioned um wanting to fire the coaches and, you know, finding a reason and and that’s why I always like focus on what’s happening on the field, right? Ultimately, I I think what you’re you were talking about, Jarvis, is like they’re not getting it done on the field. Now, we can come up with a million we can speculate on a million reasons and and try to read into this statement and that and and and to come up with, you know, the the catalysts to why what’s behind why they aren’t getting it done on the field. And if you want to use this as fuel to your fire, because I certainly think we can make an argument that this team is not supporting Michael Penn in the way that he needs to be supported because that to me is manifesting on the field. Sure. With some of the inconsistencies that we’re seeing on the football field. But like that’s one of the things I always like, you know, if they’re gonna get fired, it’s going to be because, you know, they finished the season six and 11 or or whatever. You know, that’s the reason. you know, this is maybe a symptom of that if you want to say that, but ultimately at the end of the day, you got to get, you know, as you say, you got to do your job. You’re getting paid a lot of money to do your job. And that’s we’re talking about coaches, we’re talking about players, we’re talking about a lot of people. And if you’re not doing your job, if you’re not getting, this is, as we often say the cliche, this is a resultsoriented business. Sure. And like this is why like Jarvis, you know, not to belabor this point. We’ll we’ll talk more about it coming up after because we got to get into break. But this is why like all that offseason stuff does not faze me because I’m just like at the end of the day, you got to win the games. Like we could sit here and talk about this guy’s leadership and you know this guy’s communication skills and like that. I don’t give a crap about that. I gotta watch my mouth, right? Because it’s like you gota stepped over. You gotta win football games. That’s what matters. So, we will talk more about this support system and sort of whatever we want to mechanism behind Michael Penn’s inconsistency. I think there’s more to talk about like when we look at some of the struggles he had mechanically in this Colts game and is that a regression and is is that a sign that maybe he’s not getting the type of support that he needs? And we’ll do that as we continue today’s locked on Falcons. Today’s episode is brought to you by Prize Picks since you and I make decisions every day. You know, why not get paid for those decisions and you can do that with Prize Picks. You can’t miss the excitement of this sports season, right? So, Jarvis, I I said a mouthful before we we we got into the break. I you know, I’ll give you the opportunity to respond if you have anything you want to respond to anything I said. Yeah, I would I would just say this, man. I don’t think if we haven’t seen the highs of Michael Penn. If we haven’t seen the highs of Michael Penn, I don’t think people would be this upset. They’ll be like, “Man, Terry Fondo got to go because Michael Pennis is an absolute bum.” People are upset because we’ve seen some really good stuff, man. Like even in the three starts last year, we talked about it all off seasonason, man. Woo. That three games, boy, that was a nice sample size. There the future might be bright, but when you come into this season and you have the first game against Tampa, like, man, this dude put his I think the Tampa game is is is really interesting. And I want to kind of kind of dwell on that that type of game for a second because I I think when you look at that game and there were moments where Pennix had to go off script, i.e. using his legs. He used his legs when he had to, man. And for whatever reason, he now he refuses to do that. So, can you make a case for Zack Robinson saying, “Hey, man, if it’s not there, take off.” You know, and it shouldn’t take two two games of not really feeling the rush to say that, right? Like, so that’s a case for him not being supported, right? You know, I feel just because that that that Tampa game was it was different, man. He literally put that team on his back and almost won that bad boy or should have won. Should have won that game. And when you think about fast forward to now, it seemed like he doesn’t feel like what he did in that game is an option now. So I feel like man that and that’s on the coaches. That’s on quarterback coach. That’s on DJ. That’s on you know Zack like Ra. He just came out and said, “Hey man, use your legs.” Man, bro, you should have said that jump three games ago, bro. cuz it’s been opportunities for him to take off because defense is now like this is why I say man tape is once once you put it out there bro teams are going to play you that way they are playing this man as if he refuses to run they aren’t rushing him like oh he gonna take off running or or I got to figure out whether or not I’m be able to keep containment that man is going to stay right there in that pocket and try to make that throw down the field. And that’s another thing. Hey, get this man some some intermediate stuff that he can he can go to if that deep route isn’t there. I don’t mind you taking shots down the field, but you got to get this man some more options. So, I think he’s going to uh basically going into a gunfight with a butter knife essentially because you you taking away the run option or he has in his mind. I don’t can’t figure that one out. and and and then you’re not giving him enough route concepts to to say, “Hey, if it’s not if that shot is this a shot play right here, but if it’s not there, you know, you got Kyle Pittz on the drag or whatever.” You know what I’m saying? Like, so I think, you know, overall, man, it’s it’s there are some things that we’re we’re upset. I’m upset too, you know, but you know, we’re upset because we’ve seen this dude do some really good stuff and we feel like it’s something there. Hey, coach him up, man. Like, hey, man, use your legs, dude. Because they’re giving it to you. If they’re giving it to you, take it. Because guess what? If you start taking it, they’re going to have to change the coverage up. And and guess what? They they they going to have to play a lot more zone if you start taking off like that so they can keep eyes on you. And you know what that means? He and Drake will eat that alive. I promise you. Yeah, I think it’s a great point. You know, m much much has been made uh about the sort of bipolar nature of this offense of how efficient and effective it is against zone versus how inefficient and ineffective it is against man coverage. Um, and I think you you rais an excellent point, Jarvis, where and we’ve talked about it when we’ve talked about how the Falcons scheme against some of these mobile quarterbacks that they have faced where it’s just like it’s a double-edged sword where it’s like if you play zone that gives these quarterbacks that are really efficient throwing the football, you know, some opportunities uh to to pick apart your defense and just kind of dink and dunk their way down the field. So, you want to play man, but if you play man, that means guy’s going to have their back to the quarterback. And if he takes off and runs, that’s going to be a problem for your defense. And so you’re you’re I think you raised an excellent point where if you are pushing Pinnick to use his legs a little bit more, um, you know, that could be, you know, help mitigate some of those issues that we’ve seen with this sort of kind of bipolar nature when this offense faces man versus zone. But I I think you raised excellent points, Jarvis, where, you know, you look at the onfield stuff. I talked earlier briefly about how you saw a little bit of a regression in Michael Penn’s mechanics being a little off base uh you know in this Colts game and that had you know that was one of my biggest concerns about Michael Penn when the Falcons drafted him was like can he clean up these mechanics and that will help improve this accuracy and for his first 10 starts I don’t think the mechanics were that major of an issue uh for him and then all of a sudden it becomes a major issue in this game in Germany this past Sunday and it speaks to sort of when we’re having this conversation and speculating about how much support is he getting is like are we just going to look at this G you know that’s going to be the big question we don’t have the answer right now but you know we’ll have the value of hindsight you know weeks and months from now to look back and say oh well that was just a a oneoff sort of performance for Michael Penn or is this a trend and if it’s a trend then that to me I think speaks to are you coaching him up in the ways that you want to coach him up. And it goes back to a conversation going back to that draft that we had on this podcast um after the draft where it’s like the Falcons are are trusting in their ability to walk this tight rope where they bring in Kirk Cousins, they bring in Michael Penn. They’re saying we got Kirk for two years, he’s going to be good. And it’s like this narrow tight rope that they have to walk where you have to make sure that Kirk is good enough that you’re not sitting there questioning whether or not he’s going to lose his job, but not quite good enough that when it comes time two years from now where you need to pivot off of him from a financial standpoint to Michael Penn that there’s any concerns about well we’ve been winning a lot. we just went to the NFC Championship game with Kurt Cousins and uh you know are we going to turn to this rookie or you know this first year starter or whatever now uh to build off of that and so I always was very skeptical of that tight rope that this team was going to walk where for me like when I’m sitting here criticizing this coaching staff and and this regime in general and it goes all the way up to Terry Fontino and company where it’s just like this has been my biggest beef with this current regime where it’s like they’re always saying, “Hey, we got this, right? We’re going to do this thing. We’re going to do X. We’re going to be the physical team. You know, we’re going to out Atlanta somebody else.” You know, all these things. Yeah. And then when it comes to delivering, you know, they overpromise and they underdel. And that to me to me is really like when we’re having the conversation of should these people retain their jobs? That to me is is ultimately at the crux of it. and we can sit here and find all the examples and and all the, you know, stuff that illustrates that, but like ultimately at the end of the day, you got to start delivering on what you’re you’ve been selling this entire time. And right now, they’re not doing that. And I think Pennix’s inconsistencies is just part of that. And I don’t care what industry you work in. Like, if you say you’re going to do something, you better do it. Otherwise, you know, you underpromise and overd deliver. like you can live in that world, you know. It’s like, hey, man, we going to we going to bring Mike in. You know, Mike is going to be the starter and we’re going to we know we’re going to take some lumps, you know, and we got a young defense. We know going to take some lumps over there as well. There going to be some lows through the season, but we’re going to figure out a way to get this bad boy in. But that that’s not that wasn’t a message. It was, hey, Mike is a starter. He’s our guy. this is what we’re gonna go with and we’re gonna we’re gonna we’re gonna do what we need to do. We gonna h get this hired gun and Leonard Floyd and you know pay him $10 million and shoot we going to roll baby. We gonna we going to cook. We gonna figure out a way to get it done. We’re going to play with leads. We’re gonna average 28 points a game, 27 26 points a game, you know, and we’re gonna win South and, you know, we’re going to take over take over the South and all that stuff. No, man. That’s that’s not happening. And and I think that when the seasons starts to wind down and all these things and you start listing all these things that you talked about coming into the season and you haven’t checked not one box, not one box at least at least at the end of the season, take the playoffs and all that stuff out of it. If at the end of the season, we aren’t saying, man, Michael Penn first half of the season, it was up and down, but oh man, he figured that bad boy out in the second half of the season, man, you gonna have a lot of questions to answer, man. You gonna have a lot of questions to answer. And I think that it shouldn’t be like that because I’m real big on eyeball test, man. I’m real big on eyeball test. What if I feel like I see something in the guy, I’m like, “Okay, this guy can be something.” But this this this and this has to has to work out for him. And a lot of times it’s it is the coaching. Coaching is part of it, but they got to have talent first. Michael Pennis has talent. We’re not ar I’m not arguing that. But for in order for quarterbacks to be successful in this in today’s game, that surrounding piece has to be right, man. That that that offense, that OC play caller at quarterback relationship, man. Man, these cats got to be dang near in a in a relationship with each other, you know? Pause. You know what I’m saying? So, when you think about from that aspect of it, man, Ra has a big task on his hand, dog. He has this probably going to be his biggest test as a as a as a head coach. And big enough to the point where this is probably going to determine whether or not he ever gets a shot to be a head coach again. Yeah. I think that’s more than fair, Jarvis. I think this is this is it. If if he he can’t take advantage of this opportunity. Yeah. There’s really no reason for another organization to to give him that opportunity. I think you nailed it with, you know, you you have to come away at the end of this season saying, “Yes, Michael is our guy. He is our guy.” Like, there’s no doubt about it. You can’t be like regardless who the head coach or general manager is, regardless. Yeah. It’s like, you know what I’m saying? I don’t know. You know, like if if that like that that can’t be the conversations, particularly when it comes to this, you know, the people in that building in terms of when Arthur Smith Arthur Blank, I’m sorry, uh is sitting there assessing, you know, you guys coming back? Are you guys coming back next year? It’s like, well, again, you said Kirk was our guy and then Kirk wasn’t. And then you said Michael Penn is our guy and then we’re like, we’re not 100% sure if Michael Penn if if Right. Like that was the big selling point with the regime. with this regime change with Raheem was just like we’re going to get the quarterback right. We’re going to take two shots at it. We’re going to get it right. And you know, again, it’s not to sit here and say that Michael Pennix is a bust or anything like that, but you you can’t have this ambiguous, you know, answer as we’re sitting here, you know, in week uh 11 uh at this point in time. So, that being said, we’ve talked enough about what’s going on in the building, outside the building, not going on in the building. Let’s talk about what’s going to happen on the field in week 11. The Falcons face the Carolina Panthers and uh you know, how do the Falcons turn a must-win game into an actual win? We’ll get into that as we wrap up today’s lockdown Falcons. And today’s episode is also brought to you by Game Time. I know, guys, you’re sitting there thinking, man, do I really want to go to MercedesBenz Stadium to watch this Falcon struggling team? Shout out to you the everydayers and thank you for making Locked On the number one sports podcast network in the galaxy. So Jarvis, let’s talk about this game. The the reason why, you know, normally we we start out talking about, you know, keys to victory and all that stuff on on these uh Friday shows here to wrap up the week. And you know, as I was telling you before air, it’s like it’s not that interesting. Not because, you know, checked out on the season, but it just feels like we just have the same conversations over and over and over again, especially during this four game losing streak. They got to they got to reestablish the run. They got to be more physical. They got to have more cohesion in their play calling. They got to get more consistent play from this. Special teams has to step up. The defense has to stop the run. All these various things. And then sometimes they come out and do that and sometimes they don’t. And so I guess Jarvis, is it is there anything new or different that you’ve been thinking about for this Falcon team heading into this Carolina game or is it the same old same old that we’ve been talking about for you know the last two months? I think the relationship between Darnell Mooney and Michael Penn Jr. It has to get better cuz going into games on a weekly basis with basically one consistent option for your quarterback that can’t win you no games, man. Like the Drake Michael Pennis Jr. connection is 9 to5 is is real cool. That’s really nice. And I think that, you know, Kyle maybe have had may have had a little lapse. Hopefully that was just a little laps. That was a oneoff, you know, because that if he catches that ball, he’s he’s still running, you know, and nobody’s going to catch that man. Um I and and I think that the some of the reasons why Darnell and and Michael Pennings haven’t been able to connect is because hey man, the footwork isn’t there. the the underthrow of the football and sailing the ball over his head and all that stuff. I mean, it’s just it’s just been off, man. And so, if that guy because that was the piece, right? That was the piece that we talked about coming into the season that is going to be your legitimate deep ball threat guy. Yeah, he and Kirk, they had a nice relationship. That was really good until Kirko got hurt. But it’s something off. And I think part of it is I think Michael Pen is like you look at the tape from the coach game, he’s just trying to arm the ball there, man. I was like with no footwork and nothing. I was like, dog, you got a strong arm, but you don’t know. You’re not going to know where that mug is going if you just do all your arm, man. You got to point your dog on feet and and throw that football, dog. But your eyes and your feet got to line up. Those things have to kind of coincide with each other. So I I I think if there’s a lot of ifs when it comes to this team, man. So running the football, sure. Yeah, we know that part. But man, if he’s somehow someway can figure out a way to get the ball to Darnell Mooney and get him involved, that’s going to open up a lot of things for this offense. And I know people say have seen the the success with Drake in the red zone. Man, imagine if they get one going. It’s this offense gonna look probably how we expect it to look coming into the season. Yeah, I I agree 100% with that, Jarvis. Like, you go back to that Colts game. There were times where, you know, Pennock was trying to get the ball to Darn and Darn Mooney was letting him down. That that big drop at the end of the fourth quarter is one of the most egregious drops I’ve ever seen I’ve ever seen in my life. And then there were a lot of times where Pinnix was trying to get the ball to Daramoon. Daramuni was open and balls at his feet balls three feet above his head and it’s like you got to get that. And it’s funny, Jarvis, I was thinking about this earlier today because I was, you know, scrolling through Twitter, you know, uh it’s just seeing what’s going on and uh you know someone I can’t remember who it was, someone tweeted out like, “Oh, this team is the same as it is under Arthur Smith with but with a much better roster.” And I was like, hm, are they a better roster? And I thought about it for, you know, 15 seconds. I’m like, yeah, they are a better roster than they were at the end of the Arthur Smith era in 2023. But I was thinking about like which areas and which part of the roster are better or different. And you know, you talk about Darnell Mooney who was outstanding last year. Um, and I think back to that 23 roster which had Drake London and then you know the number two wide receiver was a big issue on that team and the number two you know in the second half of the season it was supposed to be Mollins but it wound up being Van Jefferson and basically what I’m saying the darn money that you’re getting this year ain’t any better than Van Jefferson and uh fair that’s a problem like Yeah, that’s that’s a problem. And if you can’t get I mean, is he going to be as good as he was a year ago at this stage? We’re 10 weeks. Probably not. But we got to get out of Van Jefferson territory. Yeah. Yeah. He can’t be Van Jefferson, bro. You can’t go from sugar to You know what? You know that that I understand you broke a collar bone and apparently that was breaking dudes this week. Uh Rahee Morris was was on a local radio station here in town and you know he said, “Hey, he had a broken collarbone.” Oh, I thought it was his shoulder. You know, it’s just little stuff like that, man. It’s like, okay, like why y’all hide that? It’s just just little things like that. But but anyway, going from being like, “Oh, this contract, you just some value, man. Terry fund no dog on got some great value with this this signing to man he look like a dude that the Falcons were ran out of town like he can’t be you got to find the balance man and I think that’s speak to this team because we don’t know what team we’re going to get week in and week out like where’s the the floor can the floor be up just a little bit y’all y’all look like world beaters against the Buffalo Bills and and and then go out there and lay an egg like against the Panthers on the road. It’s like which who are you? Who are you? That’s the question that’s going to need to be answered on on Sunday against the Panthers against a division opponent a game you got to win. Atlanta Falcons face tough questions as Michael Penix Jr.’s support system comes under scrutiny. A viral press conference clip raises eyebrows about whether the coaching staff—especially Zac Robinson and Raheem Morris—are truly setting their young quarterback up for success. Host Aaron Freeman and Jarvis Davis (@LockedOnATL) debate Penix’s development, dissect his relationships with key offensive players like Darnell Mooney, and examine the growing frustration among Falcons fans about the team’s on-field struggles and off-field messaging.

Can the Falcons’ coaching staff realign the offense and leverage Penix’s talent to break the losing streak against the Carolina Panthers? The conversation spotlights the mismatch between preseason promises and current results, highlights mechanical regression, and questions play-calling consistency. The pressure mounts for Morris and his staff to deliver—before Arthur Blank starts planning another overhaul. Don’t miss this candid breakdown of the Falcons’ most critical turning point of the season.

  1. My problem is they aren't being creative enough. We could get Franks to block ,I think Franks would be a better block because he,s bigger stronger than Pitts, use Pitts a a regular receiver with London, these 2 guys are 6,5plus

  2. There's a whole bunch of problems with this team. If's the GM throwing money at the wrong players handicapping him from building a cohesive roster. It's the head coach being stubborn and cutting players for no reason and not making changes in how he coaches and Penix for not executing no matter how stupid the plays are

  3. Falcons trade a 1st round pick for James Pearce. You know the only thing fitting for the Falcons not having a 1st round pick is that we will finish what could have been a top 3 pick and it goes to another team. Most falcons thing ever.

  4. Fool if Zac Robinson is incapable of doin his job, Penix cant count on him, the 12 minute clip is jus one of the reasons they need to be fired….u acting like them…ur noypt listening to WORDS…u know its many elements of speech that can tell u whole lot of shit….then this Aaron dude talking bout he dont care about communication jus win…thats a big part of winning boi…verbal communication and non verbal communication…..I kno neither one of yall have eva played football

  5. Jarvis I'm calling you out. You're full of shit. The question and answer was very clear. You sir dont want your press pass revoked. Let's call it what it is!!

  6. I like Jarvis, but I don’t agree with his line of thinking here. He’s giving Penix a free pass to suck and blame everyone else. And he probably should go into cliche mode… that’s a part of being a professional. Especially when things aren’t going well. No athlete is a better athlete because of how expressive they are with the media. No athlete gets 3 or 7 points on the field for confessing their faith before the media. No one wants the wine and the cheese. Stay focused and let the results on the field speak for you…

  7. He finally said what some fans already knew… the lack of coaching, coaching, coaching….Get good coaching around Mike and a proper OC, and this team will take big steps!!!

  8. I do not understand why the pocket never moves. Never ever ever moves. And defenses know this. Defenses know the plays and know where Penix is going to be every snap. Please get rid of this joke if a offensive coordinator and head coach. Pistol could be more effective if the picket moved or with some rpo mixed in. It's how every other pistol scheme is run. Not ours. For us it simply means every team knows exactly where Penix is going to be on every play. And why the f*** are we still having issues getting plays called. This is the most frustrating staff we've had. At least during Patreno, Riddy White found his place on the field and was coached up.

  9. 9:27 Aaron makes a great point here. These fringe social media accounts who are trying to move up the algorithm will prop you up when it’s economically viable to push hype and once they smell blood in the water the hate and rage bait cycle will begin as well. Representing reality becomes irrelevant if you can get likes and be put on more “fyp” tabs.

  10. The only thing truly unfortunate was the falcons hitting Raheem and Zac Robinson. Cut the shit bro. We’ve seen all we need to see. Heard what we needed to hear. The people are over it.

  11. to say thats the reason they should get fired is kinda low. There are many other reasons the HC and OC should go this is just another reason. I think Penix is smart enough to know what would happen with what he said and he said what was on his mind.

  12. The NFL is a special place. I understand his religion, but this is competition and not Bible study. Those defensive players are literally trying to hurt you. You're committing a sin by hating your opponent. Religion and sports just don't go hand-in-hand. You have to go somewhere mentally to dominate your opponent. NFL Football is 👏🏿 NOT 👏🏿 A 👏🏿 FINESSE 👏🏿 SPORT 👏🏿. Tim Tebow tried that route and it lasted a minute. You gotta be a dawg, dawg! #FeelMe

  13. He's a young QB! The coaching staff has been piss poor, the offense should be built around Bijan not Penix right now. Penix is about 2 years from really being ready to be the guy. NFL QB's need 4 to 5 years to develop into NFL Quarterbacks. If you're going to start a young qb you have to take the pressure off of him by running the football.

  14. I disagree Jarvis, Considering Zac is regressing as an OC, & calling out all his flaws last year.

We will call out anything and everything as to a reason to why he should be fired.

It’s obvious in media who is closer to the ATL staff, because the answers vary depending on which stream you’re listening to.

    #ZacRobTheQBKiller

  15. We got a less than 15% to make the playoffs, after considering last year, and we are still talking about “let’s see what happens”.

Trying to emulate a 2016 Offense is past it’s timeline. Focus on DEFENSE !

  16. Do you guys want a SB victory or are content with getting by? Yall don't have a Lombardi winning team. Neither does my team currently constructed in the Bucs. I'm a realist. Atlanta isn't winning the division, not making the playoffs nor winning the GD SB. And here YOU are Freeman and Jarvis giving out false hope. It shouldn't be called Mercedes-Benz Stadium anymore! More like a Geo Metro 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 What point is there to prove this late into the season? Who cares if you win Sunday? You're not beating Tampa. Even if you did, you're still NOT A PLAYOFF TEAM! #GOBUCS

  17. This is why I like yall. Even as a rival. James Locked on Bucs does a decent job, I just cant connect with him. Yall? AbsolutelyFreaknReally!❤❤❤

  18. Good takes Jarvis. He is just honest. I see what he saying. All these qb coaches. How is he not getting better with zampezee. I think either they sided with Kirk or mike aint catching on. I think the latter. Dude has talent. His footwork sucks though

  19. The offensive line has key players across the board injured. If you watch the games when Penix is clean in the pocket he is solid. When the pressure gets around his feet he becomes really avg to bad quickly. We lost one of the best Right Guards in the league before the season. Bergeron is now out, and there are other injuries specifically in that same area. You can scheme alot of things but you cannot scheme talent. Anyone going crazy because Bijons numbers are going down? No of course not because he is extremely talented and we all know its not his fault he isnt getting the holes he should have. Sometimes you have to understand that their are issues that are beyone the control of the players and even the coaches. Penix has 2 losses that belong squarely on the coaching staff. How long did we watch the kicker miss field goals without addressing it. That accounted for 2 of these losses. Additionally they need to get Mike to use his mobility more to mask some of these line issues but the large gapeing issue on this team right now is that he wants to stand in the pocket and the line isnt giving him time and they are only going to blitz harder. I personally dont think in the interview that is getting so much attention I dont feel like he got the intent of the question. I think its being spun to sound like he was saying he gets no support and I think he was answering a different question about who he leans on during tough times. His girl was the obvious choice. Everyone needs to calm down. Do I love Zach Robinsons offense no but do I think he planned on having a gutted offensive line running this offense probably not.

  20. Mike kills it the week before and makes clutch throws to Drake to tie the game up and the kicker who already appeared shakey misses the extra point and we lose the game. That should be the story this week about that loss not Mike. The game tying score we flext Bijon out and used him to create space for Algere and absolutely ran the ball down their throat. We go into overtime and immediately run with Bijon and leave algiere on the bench the throw it 2 more times. Its like we dont watch the game when its happening and see what we have. Bijon flexs out and catches a slant and one missed tackle and you could get a house call. You have to modify the plan to what you have and what makes the defense struggle to defend. When Bijon flexs and Algere is out there they then have to worry about the pass more they cant fill the box because Mike has a quick outlet in space and then you can hand the ball to Tyler and he just runs people over. When they started that I thought if we had done this all game long we would have scored probably 2 more times but we just dont make good decisions with what we are trying to do and how to approach it.
