It’s because we’re getting a lot of dead cap out of the way and we have a lot of cheap rookie contracts that are about to be no so cheap lol
Some big decisions to be made this offseason unfortunately. Shaheed, Mafe, Jobe, Coby, Okada, Woolen, Cross, K9, Thomas, and Sundell will all be free agents, just to name a few.
Graph makes sense. The game has evolved for offenses to score points after points after points and therefore it makes sense to have expensive, high powered offenses. What doesn’t make sense is Seattle, if you look at the other teams in the same quadrant ( jets, saints, jags, raiders) they have a combined record of 12-28. Seattle sits at 7-3, over half the amount of wins and 1/9th the amount of losses.
We’re about to spend a pretty good amount of money this offseason
They’ll have to spend too re-sign a few people this off-season (Cross, JSN, Spoon, etc) but they are set up to pursue any free agent they want. Hopefully they get more interior lineman to complete this line. This team can and should be the super bowl favorites next year
Jets, and it shows….
Mariner
I thought I just saw a graphic of us spending 120 on defense..
lol cards
What are the Cardinals spending all that money on lol
Look at our draft classes the last three years. He has a number of contracts coming up and he builds and signs in house talent like all great teams. John has always been smart with the Cap. We might have done some bad deals, but it doesn’t handicap them for long.
