I cannot use the exact word they used in the title, because it will get auto-removed.

Still shameful.

  1. The Fan Duel segments pregame are hella annoying but Fischer isnt talking about bets he actually made himself.

It’s ones that network give him to share on the air for fans to bet on. They give him get 3 or 4 and he tells fans “you can bet on these before the game”

This was taken out of context

  2. On the one hand this feels crazy, but on the other it feels crazy to have to say an employee of FANDUEL sports network can’t/shouldn’t talk about using the FANDUEL product.

We’re going to look back on this era of sports gambling / advertising in 60 years the way we look at smoking advertising in the 60s now – wild that it was promoted in every corner in the industry despite it being addictive and predatory.

  3. Rob Fischer co-hosts a weekly podcast called The Odds Couple where they give their picks for the week. It’s not like some secret that he bets.

  4. Everyone should put down like a $5 dollar bet on one of the sites one time so you can be part of the inevitable class action lawsuit that’s coming

  5. Hope all the prop bet investigations going on lead to those being banned or severely limited

  6. I dont want to hear about your bets, your fantasy team, your parents, mfer just let me watch the damn game. Tf i want your problems and traumas for

  7. They should only allow betting on which team will win or lose.

Harder for a whole team, let alone two teams, collude.

Or better yet, get rid of gambling or at least ensure no one in the league is gambling.

  8. Will probably never happen but online sports betting and prediction markets should be made illegal or taxed at 90%. Make gambling legal only in Nevada and Atlantic City again.

  9. Look at the lik icon in the stat bar, its literally the betting sponsored content guys come on now

  10. I understand why some of you dislike sports gambling so much from a moral perspective (not talking about the shady shit with players or the annoying ads), but what confuses me is that most of you have no problem with alcohol.

Both are addictive legal adult vices that can be enjoyed responsibly by the overwhelming majority of people. As is the case with alcohol, if you cannot control yourself, then you need to stay away or get help. Alcohol has also ruined many more lives than sports betting and has been served and advertised/sponsored all over sports for decades. Alcohol is also just as accessible to people over 21. I’m not going to give anyone that “18 year olds don’t have fully developed brains” excuse either because 18 year olds can smoke, go to war, take out massive loans, and help choose our country’s leadership. If their brains are developed enough for that stuff, then they’re developed enough to know that addictive stuff can be addictive.

    So why the hypocrisy?

  11. All we need now is some kid with 2 black eyes telling KD to get over 30 so his dad don’t have to sell the house.
