Please for the love of god can we stay this good without regressing to the mean and can we keep the standings looking like this. If we take WC3 and face the Canes in the first round again I’m going to lose it.
If it’s a matchup against the Devils that series is going to 7 or at least 6 minimum, AND we can all take the train over to the Rock to catch each game.
I just hope we pound the piss out of carolina next time we play them. Fuck that team

I’m keeping my optimism tethered since we’re only a quarter of the way through the season and I’m so used to seeing “Hot start, then half the team gets injured and we crash, only to somehow recover towards the end and limp into a wildcard position to lose to Carolina in the first round”… but this year really does feel different so far.

I dont think ive ever seen a more competitive 7 game stretch from this team than what we just witnessed – never mind the fact it was a road trip which we are typically bad at. Vibes are good, Roy pushing the right buttons, Sorokin back on track. With no expectations going in this has the chance to be a very fun season.
I’m so hyped that the whole team seems to be stepping up their game so far!
Those first early games it almost looked like Schaefer was set to run out ahead of everyone else and leave em in the dust. Absolutely loving the energy we’ve seen instead. LGI !!
