Hey this Parsons guy must be pretty good

  1. Unbelievable that our d-line still can’t get home. Micah is hard carrying our pass rush

  2. Parsons is on pace for 14 sacks despite getting double teamed and put in a choke hold every play.

Meanwhile the rest of the DL thinks they can just sit back and watch.

Sorrell and Brooks at least have put up relatively high pressure rates in their limited snaps and LVN is injured.

No excuse for Wyatt and Gary. Wyatt has been a ghost for the last 6 games and Gary needs a breather every 5 reps.

  3. Just goes to show how bad our pass rush was before Parsons..

Now that we have him teams still feel confident enough to double him because they dont fear the rest of the line. Think Coop and Quay are feared more than our other pass rushers

  4. Now show the stat for blatantly obvious holds and illegal hands to the face that go uncalled. Multiple times I’ve seen him double teamed and both OL have one fistful of jersey and the other under his chin shoving his facemask back

  5. the problem is that Parsons hasn’t even been fully unleashed yet… if we had healthy WRs and could get our offense into the same rhythm as week 1, Parsons could spend a lot more time pinning his ears back and getting after the QB.

All these 1 score games are hurting his value because although he’s a plus run defender, the value of a sack/pressure is much higher than a TFL.

I think most of our picks have come off a Micah pressure, or by Micah taking on a double team allowing someone else to get a quick pressure.

We should be blowing teams out, but the offense is pretty hobbled and with Reed and Kraft injured its been entirely on Love to make lemonade out of lemons.

I love Watson and BigHead but they aren’t consistent enough and we really need Golden to be that guy or Reed to take a leap if we want to contend.

  6. Too bad we didn’t invest more in a pass rusher that can generate pressure 1vs1… oh wait

  7. If the rest could generate even a smidge of pressure, Parsons would have double digit sacks already

  8. So are other players just not stepping up?? Or what? Because they barely get movement, even on mediocre lines.
