[Brian S] Leafs prospect Harry Nansi was moved from the wing to 2nd line center in tonight’s game, and all he did was have 2 goals and 1 primary assist.

  1. Adding the rest of the post that I cut from the title so it wasn’t so long… Nansi extended his point streak to 9 games, and is now up to 9 goals and 34 points in 23 games—tied for 4th in the OHL in points.

I know Nansi was a center before he was drafted to the OHL, so if he’s moved there and sticks that would be pretty exciting for his development. He was only 7/16 taking faceoffs tonight but it’s his first game at center in 3-4 years, so I’ll cut him some slack and see how he does for the rest of his time at center this season.

  2. Maybe a dumb question but if he keeps his great pace going is there a chance he makes the World junior team? Or at Least gets invited to camp?

  3. I had him on my list before the draft (I always take a look at the youngest draftable players). I didn’t think his improvement would be like this though. Not saying he’s a star in the making but he’s showing a lot of signs that he has what it takes to grow into something special.
