  1. Holy shit I cannot believe we beat the healthy warriors without any point guards!!

Deni Avdija is so fucking good, but Caleb and Sidy were the difference in this one. Great fucking win!

  2. Game notes:

    * Wow, really gritty performance by the Blazers for the second game in a row. Just outworking, outhustling the Warriors, beating them to loose balls. Don’t look demoralized from the way they lost at all.

    * A lot of team assists. Moving the ball which is nice. However I thought they could have done a bit of a better job looking for good matchups for Deni – a lot of times the Warriors were switching up the guard/guard screens and we could have ended up with Deni 1v1 against Steph more

    * Sidy Cissoko had a hell of a game. The jumper probably isn’t going to fall like this every night, but he has some really intriguing ball skills, an insane motor on defense, and really gets out in transition and is a pretty solid connective passer. Kind of reminds me a bit of Justice Winslow.

    * Deni looks insane as a passer. Had his turnovers but he was basically generating a good look every possession. I think in the long run this experience for Deni having to do everything for the offense is going to be good for him even though he has some frustrating turnovers sometimes.

    * Best I’ve ever seen DC look as a roll man – caught a ton of lobs, looked pretty bouncy, caught them all (which has been an issue in the past.

    * Love made his shots which was nice to see. Still kinda questionable shot selection but he had some really nice drive and dumpoffs which was nice to see him setting it up – lookaway passes to Sidy in transition for a layup and also to RW for a dunk. Also the two threes he made late in the 4th quarter were HUGEEEE. It’s insane that he’s not afraid of the big moment and shoots the big shots with no hesitation (the quick three he missed with 45 seconds left wasn’t great though). Look I’ll fill out the apology thread (just for one game) lol I called him a waste of a two-way contract the other day.

    * RW3 is such a quick leaper it’s insane to see even after all the knee injuries.

    * What a gritty effort by everyone. Awesome to see and we really needed it bad.

  3. What a fantastic victory!

Jerami had a bad game but was in there fighting. Cardiac Blazers never fail to show up!

    LFG Blazers!

  4. Deni has shown a ton of leadership in these past few weeks through all the ups and downs.

  5. Deni Avdija tonight:

    26 Points
    14 Assists
    5 Rebounds
    40 Minutes

Avdija carried an undermanned Blazers team to a victory over the Warriors. Avdija is gonna make ALL NBA a this point.

  6. Clingan, Love and I think Sidy with Career nights.

Deni with a career high assists

And 2/2 against the Warriors this season.

    What a game

  7. Deni is getting better every game. Good to see him apply the lessons learned from some of the previous losses. Shout out Caleb and Sidy as well. 2-0 against the Warriors baby!

  8. Donovan Clingan tonight:

    22 Points
    10 Rebounds
    4 Assists
    2 Steals
    9/14 FGM
    27 Minutes

    Clingan is a BEAST.

  9. That’s how you show up and grow as a team . Side note , fuck dray , fuck the warriors and fuck all the warriors fans in Portland

  10. They won without a PG or our starting SG, and with Grant not hitting a single field goal. Never a doubt.

  11. These warriors’ announcers are such glazers it’s not even funny. So glad to see these losers upset. Also gave the dubs their first loss at home, feels good man.

  12. They called it the group of hell because the other teams are trapped in there with us.

  13. As a Duke fan, it feels really weird to be crushing on Caleb love now…. ❤️ 😍 💖

  14. Everyone is going to be focusing on Caleb, and rightfully so, but i also thought Rob was big time for us this game. Hes really starting to get into a groove and making a real impact, i hope he can stay healthy for us this season.

  15. Caleb Love with 26 including clutch 4q buckets

    Deni with 14 assists

    Clingan 22/10/4a/2s

Camara 20 points including 4/6 on threes

Rob with 8/11/3b off the bench

Fun win and fun box score tonight!

  16. As a college basketball fan I can tell you that Caleb Love being total dog shit for 10 games then becoming a superhuman in the one game that matters is the full true Caleb Love experience.

He sent Coach K home twice and ended his career with 2 loses to Carolina. Will always be pulling for him for that.

  17. Not gonna lie, beating the Warriors is always a little sweeter. Caleb Love might only be Dollar Tree Damian Lillard, but sometimes the stuff from Dollar Tree is all you need.

  18. This win has me feeling so happy but so sad. This team is honestly solid and we saw it in the beginning of the season. Just need to be healthy. Regardless Lfg blazers

  19. Blazers played Blazers basketball tonight and got the W. Lots of hustle play, tight man defense, clogged passing lanes, glass crashed, and A LOT of on-court communication.

Great to see Love and Cissoko making the most of their opportunities. Neither seemed to get too caught up in their moments.

Toumani’s 20 points were also promising. His shot selection was disciplined and unforced.

Clingan is a real defensive anchor in the paint and RW3 is proving an incredible pickup. Their rebounding is literally winning us games.

Another incredible performance marked by on-court leadership and great distribution. Deni and Dame are going to be lethal driving into the lane and feeding each other next season.

JG had a rough night. It’s frustrating that he barely contributes anything when his shot isn’t falling. His free throws mattered late in this game and were a difference maker, but man, grab some boards and/or distribute if you’re not hitting shots.

Always nice to beat the Warriors, too.

BLAZERS #1. *insert Blaze the Trail Cat Roar*
