#DallasCowboys are not far behind

Two things are absolutely true. Every player that leaves the toxic New York Jets gets better instantly. And Dallas is probably not as far off as everybody thinks. So Quinnon Williams last night, season high in sacks, one and a half, careerhigh in quarterback hits. Another escape from New York success story. Quinnon Williams. Now Dallas has a top 10 to 12 quarterback. Run game’s good. The weapons on the perimeter. They stole George Pickkins. That’s a lot of playoff boxes. Not all struggling teams are equal. So, we can all clown on Jerry Jones.

  1. Dallas Fan Here: I feel like the Raiders didn’t come to play ( they never do ) a lot of miss tackles, it’s like they weren’t even trying!!!!!!!!!😳

  2. Stop praising Dak …. 60 million a year and never won anything. 2-5 in playoffs and we will never go to a superbowl with Dak. Go find the next Drake

  3. Colin is the only sport media guy that is never in the middle. He is ALWAYS either basically, (or) totally right, or basically, (or) totally wrong. This one basically wrong

  4. You can clown Jerry all you want but you will never have what he has 3 rings and a gold jacket along with trillions of dollars so clown him but it just means your jealous hahahahah DC4L

  5. Cowboys got a long way to go. And their remaining schedule is very tough, the easiest games they have are all divisional. Then they have to play the Vikings Chiefs and lions, and maybe the Seahawks but I'm not sure about the birds. And then one game each against their NFC East Division rivals. And the other thing working against them is all the teams in front of them are legitimately better than them. And the Cowboys need to pull in front of two teams that are currently in front of them in order to make the playoffs. If the Cowboys win out, they have a good chance of making the playoffs, but I don't think the Cowboys are going to win out. And I don't think the teams that are in front of them now are going to go on horrible slides to fall behind the Cowboys

  6. I do think that Micah is overrated. He is an Elite pass rusher who really isn't that good against the Run. And he's a small linebacker that is not that durable. All those years in Dallas where he would start the season off strong and then not really get a lot of tackles or sacks in the second half of the season. I think that's because he's little and he would get injured and keep playing but not really be a factor. But in today's League, the way the game is played, the way that a lot of teams don't have the patience or commitment to stick with the running game, Micah Parsons can get away looking like a better player than what he really is. But Micah Parsons is really good at path rushing which is what he's really good at .But I remember Aaron Rodgers last year in green bay, which was not a great year for Rodgers and the Packers. The Cowboys were blowing people out by 40 points. But the reason they were blowing people out was because the Cowboys would get up a couple of scores, and the opposing teams would totally abandon the run, and then you're playing into the strength of exactly what Dallas Cowboys defense wanted to do and could do very well, generate a ton of pressure and get a ton of sacks. But Green Bay got down two scores and kept running the football. And after being down 14 points came back to win the game when Green Bay wasn't even a very good team. They just had the confidence, maturity and the faith in the game plan to not panic, to pull the Cowboys defense away from doing exactly what they wanted to do. Make the Cowboys defense respect the run and play honest and not cheat or lean in towards pass rushing.

  7. 1 thing is true, Jerry Jones is a failure at GM in the NFL. 30 years of proof is irrefutable.
32 NFL owners should cut ties with jz and stop delusion. FAFO NFL owners.

  8. What I have found to be the case in my 20 years of watching football is that you need some luck in addition to great management and coaching. I truly believe the 2007, 2014, and 2015 Dallas Cowboys teams could have won Super Bowls. If you look back on those playoff games they lost in those seasons, there were a few plays, that if they had gone their way, they would have won those games. Granted, Jerry is not a great GM, and he’s gotten in the way more often than he has helped, but there’s been championship caliber teams in the relatively recent past. Luck just didn’t favor them….
