  1. Dominguez and Jones are an interesting competition because they are kinda opposites

Dominguez has shown that he is capable with the bat (vs RHP at least) but the defense is terrible

Jones plays a good CF and gives you a solid defensive floor but the K% means he might be a non-competitive bat at the MLB level.

  2. You better hope that Grisham comes close to his production last year egghead.

If not, you’re paying the 2022 version 22 million dollars.

  3. Listening to this man trying to cover up the real play (Grisham turning it down) is maddening. You didn’t expect him to take it, and now you’re stuck.

  4. Omg is Belli out? I swear to God, we’d better trade for Skubal if we are going to lose Belli and keep Trent “Big Sleep in the playoffs” Grisham on our team.

  5. Should’ve gave belli whatever he wanted. This fucking idiot doesn’t deserve a job.

    Sell the team

  6. What he’s saying isn’t untrue. They no longer have a glaring hole in the outfield. It’s always good going into free agency with options.

  7. So what’s gonna happen with belli? Are we just not gonna have him anymore, shit are we just gonna run the same damn team?

  8. Worst case scenario? Fuck you brian. Jasson Dominguez should have been guaranteed the everyday left fielder.

  9. Before anyone panics on Beli, we can have him at first while acting as backup if someone in the OF goes out. Rice giving Wells more days off, but also shifts into 1B if Belli has to take the OF or has a day off.

  10. For everyone in full blown panic mode because he didn’t mention Bellinger: it’s called posturing. *Relax*.

  11. Watch the whole interview. He mentioned both Tucker and Bellinger (and their agents) without being prompted.

  12. “Worst case scenario” lol is probably not the ideal wording there. But I guess its honest

  13. Oh boy, so glad we don’t have Kyle Tucker.

Thanks for saving us on that one Cashgod.

Let’s go into this season with a worse outfield than last year, oh boy, I can’t wait

This organization is a joke. They’re not gonna make any significant moves to shore up the offensive fire power of the team come playoff time.

So if we make it this year, we’re gonna get to see Trent Grisham,Austin Wells, and Anthony Volpe continue to whiff on pitches. Aaron Judge will have to carry the team again, and we’ll all be hoping and praying that the mummy that is Giancarlo Stanton can be healthy and locked in when the time comes

    Absolute joke of a team

How is it possible that in 2026 Aaron Judge is still going to have to carry the Yankees in the playoffs? He should’ve never taken a pay cut to stay here because they absolutely lied to him when they said they would put a winning team around him.

There are players in free agency that could put us over and take some of that burden off of the captain, but they’re not gonna sign any of them

And watch this board actually buy into the propaganda that’s gonna come out out of the front office about how the team is going to be better just because Gerrit Cole and Anthony Volpe will both be healthy this time and now we’ll have a whole season of Ryan McMahon

Yeah, this is gonna be so different.

Same stupid problem year and year out

Playoff proven offensive players available in free agency…. But we’re not gonna sign a single one of them and we’ll just end up hoping and praying that this will be the year when miraculously everybody starts hitting home runs off of the best pitchers in the game.

Outside of Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton, the rest of the team couldn’t hit a ball to save their lives in the playoffs and every one of them thinks it’s their job to hit home runs in every at bat

The confluence of our mediocre batters and the organizations batting philosophy of home run or bust

Nope, let’s never spend money on a player that isn’t homegrown or that we haven’t traded for. Let’s do that again and pass on proven playoff performing talent …. Because that’s worked so well for us in the past eight years.

  14. Is this not exactly what I told everyone and they hime for it? He was going to come out basically saying that we have enough OF now. Basically doesn’t have to go after Bellinger as hard.

So many people thought he didn’t want Grisham to accept the offer but I told everyone he wanted him s. It affords him many excuses.
