Lamar Jackson Reacts to Ravens’ Dominant Win vs. Dolphins | Prime Video

Love seeing you back out there tonight. Your first time back out there since September 28th. How did it feel? It felt great just to be out touching the grass with my guys, like I said early in the week. Uh it’s awesome. It was awesome. Of course, capped off with a win. And that means you are the first ever person to be on our TNF desk for the fifth time. And that that deserves a belt. Feel there’s some real weight to that thing by the way. I get to keep this bad boy. Yeah, but Lamar, that means one thing. All you do is win on Thursday night. He just said, he said, “I need to get you guys on Sundays.” And Mondays and all Mondays. Yeah. Keep it going, man. Uh Lamar 18 for 23, 204 yards, four touchdowns, spreading it around to those tight ends. Did you feel rusty at all out there? Cuz it certainly didn’t look like it in that second half. Um I did. Uh I missed my guy Bait, man, on the first one of the first drive passes. uh probably like the the third play of the game. Yeah. And uh I wanted it back. I wanted that back. Lamar, you talked a little bit last week. You guys talked about getting the games out of the locker room, all the good mess, but I know that message there. What’s that really about? About locking in about this stretch that you guys were ahead of. You got it in front of you. Yeah. I mean, no time for games and we had a few games in the locker room and we’re not used to that. You know, it’s probably the first year we ever had that and we started off slow and it’s a lot of young guys on the team. Not saying they immature, nothing like that, but I just felt like it wasn’t the time for that, you know. Um, especially with our record, right? Got time for games. That’s what leadership is. Man, Lamar, so I want to talk about these tight ends, okay? Cuz three of these four touchdowns went to these tight ends. What is it about that group that you feel so comfortable with and what do they mean to the success of this football team? Man, those guys just love football and at the same time, they they want to win and they they pretty much pay off of each other, man. and they do a great job at it and they help all of us out a lot, you know, whether it’s blocking, catching passes, uh running guys off, they do it all. I love it. What I want to talk to you about because they had a big big game today is that defense. Having Rocoan back, having Kyle Hamilton back obviously made a difference. They didn’t give up a touchdown today. Yeah. Um Rocoin owed us uh a chop, you know, cuz he dropped that interception. He dropping books. Yeah. And he always like to say beat him up. Ball the ball. Beat him. So they couldn’t hit him nowhere else. Yeah, man. But shout out to our defense, man. creating all those turnovers. Marlo, those guys, man, they played a wonderful game. And shout out to Stars to the rookie. Lamar, you have grown as such an incredible leader as you just mentioned, you know, stepping up, saying get rid of these games, all these kind of things. I know it was so hard for you to be on the sideline. All you want to do is be out there playing, but as you guys continue to go and you sit there and you’re at one and five and the sky is falling, how do you maintain positivity in the locker room with your guys? Oh man, just, you know, it’s it’s a brotherhood. I always say that, you know, it’s a brotherhood in the locker room. No matter what we going through situations that we, you know, that we currently are, our guys stay locked in and stay poor, you know, and we just play off of each other in everything we do. Do you ever feel extra motivated? You coming back home to the crib. You You’re not too far from here. Grew up just 20 miles from here, right? Four tons in the game. Not far from here. But, uh, you know, last time we came here, I think it was on a Thursday, they beat us. So, yeah, I was feeling bitter about that. I’m like, we can’t let it happen again. I like that. Well, it could have been on Thursday. We No doubt. Y’all don’t think y’all was here either. Uh, what kind of ping pong player are you? Forehand guy, backhand guy. Um, neither. I don’t play it. Well, there you go. Get it out the locker room. But our guys do though. Um, likely and those guys fall by rookie. They got to play ping pong a lot and it was a time for us to go, man. We We talked about being home. We said pregame. I think we got video of you uh hugging the high school coach, Coach Richard. Man, how is that, man? How’s that make you feel just being here getting a chance to see some people back in the day? Oh, it means feel awesome, man. I I love being home, man. Uh uh one guy I think uh one of our guy coaches, Danny was uh Danny Stern, he was like, “Man, we need to come down here, practice, and then just f up the game.” She loving out here. Energy up. Yeah. Lamar, Halloween is tomorrow. You got a nice win. You got a little time. Do you do anything for Halloween? No. I was nothing for Halloween. No. No. No dressing up. You don’t want to dress matches for Halloween. What? What? What happened when someone rings that doorbell? You ever just have fun, answer the door? Canada. Play through. Nice. Oh, okay. Come on. Come on. You You sound like a Grinch. I want to give America some personality. You do something for fun. I probably eat candy. There you go. I eat candy. Power Rang candy. What’s your number one candy? I was just about to ask. My number one candy. Uh, it depends. Ner crusters. Uh, I like the little almond Snickers. I’ve been I’ve been liking those. Snickers.
