1. 20 games into the season and Samuelsson is not only the Sabres best player but legitimately should be a candidate for the Norris trophy.

10. Like I love Sammy’s resurgence, how well he’s playing and everything, but to me, this just shows me how stupid these stats are.

16. I never understood why fans turn on good players so fast. He was dealing with injuries, it happens and injuries do impact your ability to play your game at your best level. Crazy thought, I know but let’s hope some of you learn from this and stop calling players bad just because they are injured. This was the most predictable bounce back for me atleast. I don’t think he is going to keep up this scoring pace but he is a solid top 4 defenseman when many would’ve bought him out, waived him or traded him for nothing.
