NICK KYPREOS DROPS HUGE ARTEMI PANARIN UPDATE: HURRICANES & WILD PUSHING FOR A BLOCKBUSTER TRADE?

Okay, so no facecam today because unfortunately this is going to require a lot of reading and I just want to put the text on screen so it’s a little easier for everybody to follow. But today we are diving into the ever so elusive future of New York Ranger superstar Art Panin. Paneran is in a pretty interesting spot because as a player with an expiring contract at 34 years old, he’s making 11.642857 million a year. That’s a really big dollar deal. And for most folks, you would say, okay, he’s 34, which means that his next contract is probably not going to be 11.6 mil. It’s probably going to be a little bit lower than that. He’ll probably find himself a way to stay with the Rangers because he’s been very good with them. And obviously, there’s no reason why New York would want him to leave, right? Especially this season. Paneran has finally gotten back up to standard point production territory. He’s not fully there yet. Like, he’s not over a point per game. He’s got 19 points and 22 at this point in the season. But when you look at just the recent stretch, I mean, this is where Paneran has finally started to get back in the score sheet. Three, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12 points in his last however many games. This is eight games. So, our Tammy Paneran has finally started to put the biscuit in the basket one more time. He’s finally starting to score assists because he did go through a very big lull period throughout the course of this season. him and JT Miller essentially both spelled some very big pessimism for New York Rangers fans. Ultimately though, our Tammy Paneran is in a pretty tough spot because he’s making the certain amount of money. He’s a very good player. The Rangers want to keep him, but we do have ourselves a bunch of updates that dictate where it is this guy could be spending his future. Let’s head over on to sportsnet.ca CA and read this article published by Luke Fox 4 days ago on November 18th. Here are the top 12 UFAS of 2026. The latest rumors and reports via Luke Fox and Nick Ciprios, who is also mentioned in this article. Let’s go out there and read the report on Arti Paneran. His age on July 1st is still going to be 34 years old, leftwing 11.6 mil. Here’s the latest on him and his situation. Despite his advanced age and declining stats, the super skilled Russian has no interest in taking a pay cut. The four-time all-star has the New York Rangers against the ropes here. GM Chris Drury has already been turning over the roster and has no interest in keeping Paneran’s paycheck status quo into his late 30s. If Drury was willing to cut ties with Mr. Ranger Chris Krider, Paneran cannot be viewed as a must retain. As a result, the sides have hit a snag that presumably will only be smoothened by how the team fares between now and the trade deadline. If the Rangers find themselves in the playoff mix, Drury may simply keep Paneran as an own rental. If not, it would not be surprising to see the executive ask Paneran to wave his no move clause and move to a contender. The Carolina Hurricanes and Minnesota Wild are two teams that would be keen. According to Nick Ciprios, “Whether it’s trade value or UFA value though, Paneran’s sluggish scoring out the gate hasn’t helped matters. It’s not an easy time, but I can’t be frustrated,” Panaran told The Athletic. “I’ve been in a similar situation. Never like this, but it’s the same tools, right? I’ve gotten past this thing by just keep on working and trying to be mentally in the right spot.” Now, I kind of like what this article goes out there and says if Chris Drury was willing to cut ties with Chris Krider, Paneran cannot be viewed as a must retain. However, if the Rangers are in the playoff mix, Paneran could be seen as an own rental. And you can debate whether or not the quote unquote own rental idea is even a beneficial one for NHL teams to think about. Oh yeah, we have this really good asset that’s going to leave, but we want to make the playoffs, so let’s just keep this asset and then he’ll leave for nothing and that’s going to be fine because we’re okay with that. Is that an idea that you think is profitable for NHL teams? Of course, if you win the Stanley Cup, it’s fine, but I don’t think the Rangers are going to be doing that anytime soon just based off the way they’ve played and just based off of their leadership, you can say. But ultimately, Arti Paneran could be seen as one of these rentals if these contract discussions are not able to progress past 11 million bucksish. Panaran wants to stay at the staller amount, but he’s 34 years old. Honestly, if he’s able to continuously produce 120 or even 90 to 100 points every year, he’d be fine at 11 point something. It’s like the John Divera Steven Samco situation all over again. Unless the player is willing to take a significant discount, it doesn’t seem like he’s going to stay. With this in mind though, Carolina, Minnesota, two teams that could be seen as rental destinations for Paneran. Minnesota with Paneran and Capriov would be deadly. And our Tammy Paneran alongside Nick Eers, Seth Jarvis, assuming he’s healthy, and everybody else in Carolina would be super cool to watch as well. lot of options here for the NHL’s top contending teams. Not that Minnesota is necessarily that right now, but they’ve already been linked to Paneran in the past. And obviously with the Capriovv and New York rumors, we certainly do have an angle here. But what if I told you that out of all the Arti Paneran talk on his future, on his present, there is one situation that we have not acknowledged yet that was also written about and talked about elsewhere on social media. Let’s head over to rg.org researchgrounds.org and read the newest piece by Sergey Demidov from two days ago. Excuse me. I was about to say yesterday. Two days ago, Sergey Demidov posted this on rg.org. There is talk growing that are Tammy Paneran may leave the NHL for Russia. According to Kovalev, now big blast to the past there. Take a look at what Kovalev has to say. Artame Paneran rejected an early extension similar to Anay Kopitar’s deal. The tension around his future continues to rise. Kovalev notes that conversations around the league suggest Paneran may be weighing an exit from both the Rangers and the NHL. He stresses that comfort and environment often matter more than contract dollars and says he has heard the Paneran could return to Russia. Kovalev points to New York’s defensive issues as a major factor behind the slow start. He says the Rangers lack key additions on the blue line, creating pressure on their goalending and offense. With roster concerns intersecting with Paneran’s uncertainty, the situation remains unsettled. Now, hey, the Rangers just got ga, didn’t they? Okay, we’re going to not expand on that. Let’s just dive into the Paneran situation here. Alexi Kovalev says Artame Paneran may be closer to leaving the NHL than expected. In a recent interview, he was blunt when asked about Paneran situation. The Rangers forward declined an early extension offer structured along the same lines as Copitar’s deal, short-term and at a lower cap hit. Elliot Freriedman reported on the fan hockey show that Paneran’s camp led by agent Paul Theophanis rejected the offer immediately. David Pñota of the fourth period added that if the Rangers slide towards bubble team territory and Paneran remains unwilling to stay, the club could explore a trade. Kovalev says he understands the feeling of wanting respect from the team, but warned that things can spiral pretty quickly. I once made my own mistake when I left for Ottawa, but for me it was a matter of principle when I left Montreal. I wanted to feel respected, he said. Still, you shouldn’t push too hard for that. Money is not always the main thing. Far from it. What matters most is the place, the comfort, the people. Sometimes you can give up some money and still enjoy the team and the environment. But then the former star took it a step further, suggesting that Paneran might be thinking beyond the Rangers. There are even talks that he wants to leave the NHL and go back to Russia. I don’t know if it’s true, but that’s what people here are saying. Kovalev said it’s worth noting that Paneran and Kovalev are in a way neighbors. They both own homes in New York that are located not far from each other. And so if we’re going to get into neighborhood gossip here, that seems like it could be a possibility when discussing the Arti Paneran future. The rest of this article goes out there and talks about what’s wrong with the Rangers. Kovalev goes out there and speaks out about adding defensemen and how all their problems come from the back end. But ultimately, this could be the situation with our Tammy Paneran. Could he get traded to a team like Carolina or Minnesota? Is he sticking around in New York? Could he head back over to Russia when this is all said and done? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below about our Tammy Paneran and what you think his future has in store. I hope you enjoyed this V roll9 and bye.

  1. Panarnin is a weird Russian he’s a rare blue hat Russian. He loved Chicago and went to New York by his own choice, so I doubt he would play in Carolina. He seems to enjoy trash cities and high taxes wouldn’t be surprised if he went to the Kings next to finish off the trifecta of horrible American cities to live in.
