Miami Heat DEMOLISH Chicago Bulls in NBA Cup | Keshad Johnson Provides SPARK Off Bench
As y’all can see, I’m on the road right now in my hotel because y’all know I have my big professional engineering exam tomorrow. The testing center is about an hour away from my house. So, we figured we would stay the night before our exam, have a closer drive in the morning. And before we came up here, I made sure to have everything packed. I have my confirmation letter for the test. I have my ID. I have my calculators. I got two of them. I was so damn prepared before we drove all the way up here. But I just realized I forgot one thing, and that was my belt because tonight the Miami Heat gave the Chicago Bulls a legendary belt to ask, baby. In the NBA Cup, if that’s something that you care about, which is not something I care about at all, but I’ll tell you who does care is Kesha Johnson. My boy, I’ve been telling y’all for 2 years now to buy Kash Johnson stock. And yes, I did sell a lot of it earlier this season, but I still own some of it and it’s going to make me a very rich man because that man was hooping tonight. See what happens, Eric Spolstra. When you don’t put the 68 guy at center, when you actually play him at his natural position, a power forward, he will ball the hell out, which should be expected because he’s obviously making a minimum contract in the NBA. Meaning that if he if this team does win the NBA Cup, he basically would double his salary cuz I think all the everyone on the winning team gets like a million dollars. So, good for guys like Ashad, good for guys like Myron Gardner and Jamir Young. We saw those guys get to hoop a little bit at the end. So, you feel good for them. Although I still find the whole concept of the NBA Cup ridiculous because it’s like at the end, you know, guys are playing to the buzzer and it’s like you have the Bulls trying to score with 5 seconds left when they’re already down 40. It’s like I understand point differential matters, but when you’re already losing by 40, what you lose by 40 or 38, new news alert, you’re screwed. You know, you you don’t need to really make up any anything of the point differential there because one way or another, you’re going to lose. But anyways, uh the Miami Heat obviously are in a decent position now to win the NBA Cup. Uh I don’t have the updated standings or nothing, but I think uh they’re two- one now. Milwaukee’s currently undefeated, but obviously point differential wise. We’re in a massive lead and then I think we do play the Bucks uh coming up within the next week. And I’m assuming winner of that game wins their division and then they go into the knockout round or whatever. I don’t really care about that except for the fact that I might because on FanDuel, the sponsor of today’s video, uh you can’t actually bet right this second on who’s going to win the Heats division, you know, in the NBA Cup because the games just ended. But a few days ago when we looked at it, I think the Heat were third in odds behind the Knicks and the Bucks. And obviously that after the ass kick and the Heat gave out today, they’re probably going to move up a little bit. And if you can still get them at plus odds once FanDuel puts the updated lines up, I definitely would suggest uh getting the Miami Heats on that line because it’s looking like we’re getting more healthy as well. Obviously, Norm Pow gave us a little scare earlier, had a groin injury, uh but then he came right back in the game and baldled the hell out in that second quarter. We obviously got Bam Bow back now backto-back games in a row from his injury looking excellent. and Tyler Herro. Word on the street is a little birdie told me he’s slated to come back on Monday versus the Dallas Mavericks is at least what the speculation is. So things are up in Heat Nation right now. Uh obviously tonight was a fun one. I really didn’t take any notes. One because I was also studying a lot during the game. Got to get in that last cra session. Y’all know how it is. Uh my my guys and gals that are still in school at this point. Uh but also it was a blowout. So really just a no stress game from from the jump because the Heat came out with such a defensive intensity that was very reminiscent of the last game uh versus uh who’ they play out the Warriors, right? When everyone was hurt, we saw the Heat come out to a 20 to4 lead. The defense was smothering and then obviously the Heat left let their foot off the gas pedal and not tonight. You know, I know the Heat they were I guess missing Andrew Wiggins tonight too and you still had Yoic out. So guys are still out of our rotation, but it sounded like a Wiggins was a dayto-day with a hip thing. Uh and Yovvis sounded like it was dayto-day as well. So hopefully you can get all these guys uh healthy very soon. And I know the Bulls came in with some injuries, too. Uh at one point Modis Bzelis hurt his ankle, but then he came back in the game and then I guess Kevin Herder got ejected. We should mention that. I’m iffy on that call. Basically, if you didn’t see it, uh Kevin Herder fouled Pella Larson. he didn’t think he did, so he’s mad at the call. And he kind of batted the ball away from him and it ended up hitting one of the referees. I don’t think Herder’s intention was to hit the ref, but because he did, that’s an ejection. You know, you you can’t hit the ref with the ball whether it was intentional or not. Now, I hate taking the side of Tony Brothers because Tony Brothers is the one who ended up ejecting uh uh Kevin Herder, and I think Tony Brothers is the second worst ref in the league behind Mark Davis. If y’all remember Mark Davis, he called that foul on Goran Dragic on Chris Middleton in the bubble. I will never forget it. I don’t know if y’all remember that call. It was like to tie the Heat were up three with like a second to go and he said that Goran fouled Chris Middleton on a three. I will hate Mark Davis to the day I die because of that call even though the Heat ended up kicking the Bucks ass the rest of that series. But I’m curious if if I’m, you know, uh overreacting to that player if people still remember that cuz that one still hurts me. I think the Heat actually still won that game. I think that might have been when Jimmy remember when Jimmy hit the free throws with no time left on the clock in the bubble. So, I guess he ended up giving it back to us. I don’t know. What can I say? I’m a petty guy. I’m not going to lie. Like Bam in the bio who said he wasn’t petty after the the Warriors game where he wore that joy dealer hat and the hat literally said joy dealer and he said it wasn’t in response to Jimmy Butler and he specifically said he’s not petty like that. Well, he said he’s not petty like Asia, which is a wild thing to publicly call your girl petty cuz, you know, I get it. It’s jokes, but still, you know, sometimes you want to be careful calling your girl petty. Uh, but I I am petty, unlike Bam. So, anyways, obviously I’m on a little bit of a tangent here because I mean, there’s only so many different ways I could say belt to ass. Seriously, I mean, the Heat came out the gates with that great defensive effort. Uh, and every single person on here was hooping. I guess uh we’ll kind of look through the box score a little bit so we’ll get a chance to talk about each guy a little bit. Uh cuz I definitely got a lot to say as the Heat put up 143 versus Chicago Bulls only gave up 107. Low key is that the least amount of points the Heat gave up this year cuz we know they’ve been putting up 140, but it seems like every night because of the pace they they’ve been giving up like 120 as well. Uh I know the Bulls are like third in pace. So I definitely expected this game to be high scoring both ways. And I I’ll tell you this, I also expected Josh Giddy to cook us because he looked like Luca Donuch in all of the matches versus us last year. And today that really held him in check as he was one assist away from a triple double, but he finished with 1911 and n which is great. An efficient 19 points also or not too efficient, I guess he was only 43%. Uh but in the if y’all remember watching him verse us last year, he quite literally was unstoppable and today was an improvement on that. Uh, and not to mention Vousvich only had six points, four boards. Uh, as we know, he has killed us in the past and killed us puts it lightly, you know. Uh, but I guess part of it is because he did start Bam and wear together obviously without the Wiggins injury. Some people thought Hame might start. I was hoping Spo would go double big. It’s actually something that he referenced in his postgame press conference last game. He said he thought about doing it. He just decided against it. And in my postgame video, that’s one of the things I kind of questioned Spo about is, hey, you’re getting killed on the glass. Why didn’t you put Kuware in there with Bam and I guess as he overthought some things overnight, he decided that would be the best way to start this game. Uh, so I’m definitely glad that that Spo decided to go in that direction. Uh, but then yeah, we’ll start with Pella Larson here. Drew another charge today. Put another tick in in the days Pella Lararsson has drawn a charge. We’re on like 15 straight days now. I’m just making up that number, but someone should start keeping track. I mean, who’s got the heat record for charges in a season? Probably UD, right? Maybe Badier and Kyle Lowry are up there. Pella Larson, somebody’s got to find that stat cuz Pella Larson has got to be, you know, on pace to to be up there with those guys. Uh, but also chipped in 16 points and seven assists. Wow, he has 16 points on five shots. Talk about efficiency. Of course, we know he gets to the free throw line. He was 6 to6 today. Continues throwing his body into people. Uh, and a few of those lobs were to Khar. So, we’ve talked about this in past videos, too. The more you see your young guys be on the same page and click with that kind of chemistry is an exciting thing because it’s not only Yovich throwing lobs to wear no more. It’s not only your point guard D’Von Mitchell doing it’s not only Tyler Hero, it’s Jame, it’s Pella Larson, it’s these other guys. Uh, and that’s just very exciting in terms of the future of this team. Moving on, BAM about today uh was not too efficient. you know, four of 11 from the field, but 18 points, seven rebounds, uh, five assists, and had two three-pointers, two of five from beyond the arc. Uh, so nice to have him have a little bit of a light day. Played under 30 minutes as he, you know, is still coming back from his toe injury a little bit. Uh, and then Khil Wear today, monster offensive performance after struggling a little bit to finish last game. Uh, he finished with 20 points and 14 rebounds today, eight of 15 from the field and very active defensively. I mean, he had the one play where he the the Bulls defend or the Bulls player tried throwing the ball to the corner, but Khalil Wear is so damn tall and lanky that he was able to intercept the pass way above his head, tip it to himself, and then start a fast break with Jame, and then this time it was Jame to Khilware, lob in transition. Uh, very exciting things to see. I saw where sprinting out to the three-point line to contest three-point shooters. All these type of things that we’ve been desperately wanting for him to do, and he has been doing it. As Spo always says, he wants where to stack up these good days, have multiple of them in a row. And we’re seeing that and it has me uh very excited. Uh Norman Pal today uh only had 19 points, you know, six of 14 from the field, but again, he had the little groin injury, which was scary cuz that’s what he missed three games with earlier this season, but came back and looked really well. So, and I remember there was another game like a couple weeks ago. Same thing happened. He felt a little I think that might have been the ankle. Remember he tweaked the ankle. They said he was questionable would have returned and he did return. So I’ll tell you man, Noran Powell tough so tough which we know this we we know this about Norm Pow, but it still deserves to to be said verbally. He deserves that kind of credit cuz he is one tough player. Uh and I just have the the ultimate respect for him because of that. And then DaVon Mitchell today 16 points and six assists on seven and nine shooting. Wow, what an efficient night for the Heat. Uh and those six assists were to zero turnovers. And we’ll check Drew Smith. You know, we got to check both of them. Uh Drew Smith today, two assists to two turnovers. So, ruins the ratio there a little bit. But overall, your two point guards got you eight assists to two turnovers. That is a beautiful assist to turnover ratio of 4 to1. So, I don’t have a mic stand, but snap it up for them, too. I had someone comment on my last video. And there and I think the Heat last game, I don’t know, they had like nine assisted two turnovers, something like that. And I do the thing every video we clap it up. and he said, “Why are you clapping it up for nine assists to two turnovers for your point guards?” And I and I was thinking, I didn’t respond to him, but I was thinking, I was like, it’s very clear why. It’s because of the ratio. Listen, I understand it’s only nine assists and from your two point guards, maybe you want some more, but it’s very clear these guys are not primary facilitators. So, at the very least, what you can expect from them outside of their allw world perimeter defense is to not make mistakes and be efficient in in terms of their facilitating. So, that’s why we look at the ratio. Anything over a three to one assist to turnover ratio is excellent. That’s three assists to one turnover. And today between your two point guards, eight assists to two turnovers, you know. So that’s a 4:1 assist turnout ratio, which is excellent. And there two guys who are kind of forced into this facilitating point guard role even though they’re not uh primary facilitators. For them to be doing such an excellent job at that, taking care of the ball, I just think it deserves credit. You know, credit where credit’s due. because on top of that, they’re they’re also scoring the ball. I mean, Drew Smith today had 12 points and seven rebounds. Only two assists, but seven rebounds for your backup point guard. And then obviously 12 points on only seven shots. But Da’Von Mitchell, this left-hand scoop that he has, we don’t give it enough credit. We should come up with a a clever name for that, like the DaVon lefty something. I don’t know. I I’ll workshop it. But he is so quick driving to his left that he gets a little cross one step past his defender and that’s all he needs to scoop up the layup. And it doesn’t matter if his defender has time to recover. It doesn’t matter if there’s help defense coming from the baseline or coming from the other side to help contest a shot because he scoops up that layup with with such a difficult angle. Extends it all the way out his body. Throws it up so high off the backboard and so fast it is impossible to block. And his touch on that is is incredible. And again, that’s with his off hand off. I guess that’s why they call him off night cuz he can do it with his off hand and you’re going to have an off night when he guards you. But yeah, what a what a great relief bucket uh for him to have because there was times this game the Heat were up 25. The Bulls will cut it to as low as 14. But in order to stop the bleeding, a lot of that was Dave Mitchell just being able to get those those layups off which he hits at such a a high rate. Uh so those are huge to have. Uh, speaking of relief baskets, Simone Fonteio, Mama Thria, as my guy Brandon told me, he always says, I need to start saying that more. Had nine points today, but shot one of 10 from three. It’s crazy, you know, he shot pretty poor efficiently last game, and I didn’t even realize it. And even today, I didn’t even realize he was one for 10 because it doesn’t feel that way. I guess because every time he misses, I’m shocked cuz he was shooting like 49% from three prior to tonight. Obviously, that’s going to drop a little bit after a one to 10 performance. Uh did get fouled on the three-point line one time. So, it’s kind of like he hit another three anyways, even though he missed one of the free throws. But anyways, I’m just so surprised that he misses that like I guess I don’t believe it actually happened. Like I almost He’s such a good shooter. I believe my eyes misled me. I guess not. He actually did. He actually was one and 10 today. But he was good defensively, too. We didn’t even mention last game he had picked someone’s pocket. He did it again today. So, he’s Did they actually credit him with the steal, though? They did credit him with the steal today. It was one of those ones where he like picked the ball loose and I forget if someone else picked it up, but he’s been very solid defensively and I was critical of his defense in the first game. I thought his rotations were very slow, but he’s been good. And I remember when the Heat first signed him, he said, “Yes, I know they brought me in to be a shooter, but I want to prove that I can also be a very solid defender.” I didn’t believe he could be, but we are seeing that now. Uh, and then who else we got here? We got Kame Jame Hakez Jr. I’ve been low-key I’ve been going on FanDuel a little bit throwing some money on him to win to get a triple double. He will get one very soon. I thought he might today without Andrew Wiggins. If Wiggins misses the next game, maybe he will, but he’s knocking on that door cuz today for Jame 10 points, seven rebounds, seven assists. So, he’s continues to do everything. And it is just nice to see on some of the nights where he’s not scoring as much or not asked to score as much, he still is doing the these everything else out there, these other things. So, uh that’s very positive to see. And then we got to talk a little bit. I I wanted to save the best for last year because, you know, you got six minutes from Jir Young, five minutes from Myron Gardner. You know, those guys have been okay in the G- League overall. Their team hasn’t been great in the G- League. I’ve seen Casper his last couple stat lines. Rough starts for Casperis, but that’s fine. I’ve always said that I think Casperis will be a better player uh when he has better teammates, and we saw that. You know, as soon as he played his one and only preseason game, he was awesome. But that’s because he needs a professional spacing. He needs a professional rim roller like Khalil Wear. So I think Casperis will be better when he’s with the main squad. But anyways, that only other guy that got significant minutes tonight uh is Keshawad Johnson. 30 minutes for your boy. Double double, 14 points, 12 rebounds, uh was only three of 10 from the field, but two of five from three, six to six from the free throw line. And it’s just makes me so happy to see because I mean I was out here screaming that he was PJ Tucker with Derrick Jones Jr. athleticism. That’s the way I was describing Kashad Johnson. Uh, and it was rough. You know, obviously he was thrown in some rough spots this year when Yoic would get in foul trouble or Yoic just stunk it up. And I think Kashad’s like first real minutes was against Joic. It’s going to be tough, you know, cuz Yovic I think got hurt or foul trouble. So Kishad came against Yo Kitch and it was rough, you know, but to see him play with the kind of energy he had today, some emphatic blocks, sending shots into the third row, just being that guy with such a quick second jump to get his own rebounds and continue to rebound. And that’s the kind of energy and heat culture that I think he could bring to this team. You know, I think every team needs an energy guy off the bench, you know, for in terms of defense. And I think he can be that guy. Uh, I’m not sure I want to be a regular parts of this rotation, but hey, if you’re going to hit two of five from three, hey, you know, that’s that’s pretty good. Uh, yeah, I think that’s pretty much all I want to say for in terms of this game, though. Uh, the Heat’s next game should be a fun one. It’s on Sunday versus 76ers. Little one:00 action. Good timing. Dolphins on a by-week this time. Uh, so at least we get a little bit of little bit of sports action to keep us going. Uh, in Philly, they’ve been playing a little bit better. Yeah, nine and six. Uh, obviously Tyrese Maxi’s been carrying them. just had a 54-point game the other night. Uh Paul George has been inconsistent. Joel Embiid’s playing time has been inconsistent. So, who knows if those old bums will play, but we do know is Tyres Maxi will be there. I’m assuming VJ Hitchcom is playing. Obviously, he’s having a nice rookie season. So, that would not be an easy game. And in terms of the standings, you know, they’re one of those teams that’s jumbled up with the Heat. So, uh that’ll be a really encouraging win if the Heat can go on the road and come away with that one. And then they do have a back-to-back Monday verse Dallas. So, it might be the return of Tyler Herro. So, some fun games coming up for the Miami Heat. Make sure y’all subscribe so you don’t miss any of the content I have coming up to talk about. Of course, there’s a lot of other things going on. We I would have loved to get a LaMelo Ball video, some other trade videos, but if I pass this test, I should have a lot more time on my hands. So, wish me luck. Let me know your thoughts on the game down below. Make sure to like and subscribe cuz all you support is greatly appreciated. I’ll see you on the next one. Peace out, everyone. Pull up in your city trying to get that dead face. Do it on my own. I don’t need no dead weight. Had to kill them off. Yeah, I need a head space. You know this homegrown don’t have fan.

Damn brah 5 pillows? You fancy fancy? π
I wished we gave them a 40 piece
Anthony, its clear Bam is insinuating that Aja picked the hat….not himself
Good Luck on the test bro! I'm also an engineer, what exact field are you in?
This game was so good for the Heat that even the missed putback dunks by Ware and Keshad felt like Highlights!!!!
Bro..weβve scored 140+ points 3 or 4 times this season..I think we only scored over 140 points twice last season! Iβm so happy!
My guy Ant ππ€πΎ put BTA to Chicago ππππ good luck on your test too I wish I could've been there I would've distracted whoever the teacher or whatever is giving it out ππππ
Good luck with your test, man!
LETS GO HEAT!!
Good job spo for making Keshad play in all position. That makes him so valuable in the nba not only in miami. It help him develop more. Lezz go! Donβt mind the HATERS that always say to put players in their position without improving.
Good luck on your exam!
Good Luck with the Test my Friend π !!! Congratulations in advance !!

Bam sleeping on the couch this week
I'm calling it now.. Norman Powell is gonna make some magical moments come playoffs.. I see that same veteran poise Wade, Bron, & Jimmy had in him.. Just watch
Good luck young man congratulations i congratulate you because i know your going to pass that exam πlets goooooooooooooo Heat
I can't find nobody talking about our rookie. He score 15 at, 8 ast , 5 still, 4 rd, and one turnover. Its just a good league game. Still I can see so much potential in his game. We would go from small ball, to big and versatile . With kasparas, bam, and ware in the starting lineup
That's people for you. Love you ,when your up , and hate you when you're down. Jovic will be fine , he's 6"10 and can handle the ball like a guard. Jokic didn't want him to resign with miami, cause he wanted jovic in Denver. Just let him settle down first , you can tell he's in his head and not playing freely
