The #Astros drop another game as they are swept by the Mariners #Shorts

On Thursday, we talked about the worst case scenario for the Houston Astros facing the Mariners this weekend. And unfortunately, it all transpired for the Houston Astros as they get swept by the Mariners and it wasn’t even a close contest. I know Saturday’s game after the grand slam by Jeremy Pena made it a little bit closer than it appeared, but the Astros were pretty much out of that game from the very beginning. Friday’s game it wasn’t even close and today’s game it wasn’t really even close. So the Mariners they outplayed the Houston Astros in this series and now they are three games behind the Mariners technically four games because you now the Mariners now hold the tiebreaker and you are now tied for the last wild card spot. Technically, the Guardians have the upper hand because they have the tiebreaker over you. So, right now, the Houston Astros are looking from the outside into the playoffs. So, we’ll talk about this and more on tonight’s Locked on Astros

  1. Astros are well done. There are lots of problems to fix this off-season. Start with hitting coaches, then find pitching to replace the damaged pitchers

  2. I don't want to see this team in the playoffs. Peña is probably out now. Alvarez still gone. Half the 40 man is on the IL. Why push them all back too quickly for a WC sweep anyway. Let's get everyone healed up and come back in '26. Hopefully, with a little better luck in the health department.
