Jets won the chance battle at 5v5 against one of the best teams in the NHL. Special teams & rough night for the 3rd pair made the difference.

Toews is starting to concern me. His IQ still seems there, but I am noticing lazy chips and dumps, blind passes to errant areas of the ice, and obviously a lack of production.
Fortunately, Koepke and Barron added some much needed speed back into the squad, and Nyquist – despite poor production – is on the right side of the play more often than not.
Schenn continues to legitimately infuriate me. He seems to be unable to skate, he permanently turns over the puck dumping it down the boards, and I saw Stanley cleaning up his mess on a number of shifts, which says something.
We need a new defensive player – who do you think we could legitimately get with Lambert’s and Schenn’s(?) value that would be an actual upgrade?
