There are 11 different Shadur Sanders prop bets for Sunday as Cleveland takes on the Raiders. So, I I I know some of you think, Colin, you media people are blowing this out of proportion. Folks, say it out loud. famous young athlete. Dad’s a superstar. Many fans think his career is being sabotaged by the general manager and head coach. He plummets in the draft, laughs about it, and oh, by the way, multiple speeding tickets in camp. Is that not interesting? TMZ was built on guys like Shadur. It’s fascinating. It’s a soap opera. Now, I don’t think he’s going to be great against the Raiders. Why? because I don’t think he’s great, but we all love tension and you have real tension here. There’s a lot of people that absolutely believe that the Cleveland Browns are um mismanaging and undercoaching him and are rooting against him actively. I don’t. Let’s see who’s right. So, and I’ve said this before, not every game has to be the Super Bowl or Ohio State Michigan or a Dodger Yankee World Series or, you know, Duke Carolina. I grew up on Evil Conval and I’ve always loved watching the Little League World Series and um this has a Jake Paul fight reality television show. all be Andy Cohen between Max Crosby and the Raiders and and and Shur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns and I can’t wait. I mean, Tim Tibo games were ugly. They were kind of interesting. They got massive ratings for different reasons. So, I I don’t think he’s going to be great, but you can’t tell me it’s not interesting. 2 and eight versus 2 and 8. NFL’s king for this reason. I would be shocked if this doesn’t get a it’s a spectacle. if it doesn’t get a real number. And you know, again, not every game that is fascinating is fascinating because the teams are great. We’re watching the Buffalo Bills fall apart. That is fascinating. I mean, last night with that game, my show today, if Buffalo won by 20, it’s not an interesting game. The fact Buffalo lost is interesting. I mean, I said I think I said this yesterday. If you told me I could pick the three most interesting things from the weekend, if I and I always say I root for interesting. If you told me three things I wished happened, it would be Shadur Sanders is amazing. The Cowboys upset the Eagles. Caleb Williams wins again. Outd Aaron Rogers. That would be a great Monday show. And Lane Kein says, “LSU, here I come.” I’m sorry. They’re interesting. Here is Shadur on his first NFL start. I think it’s going to be exciting. I know a lot of y’all going to be there. I know you can’t miss it. You cannot miss this moment. Um, it’ll be definitely exciting. Um, we going out there with a purpose, going out there, um, mentally ready, no distractions, no anything. And, um, you know, I’ll be excited. He’s he’s he’s a likable guy. I I don’t love his judgment or his sometimes lack of self-awareness. He seems like a pleasant kid. So, I don’t think he’s going to be great. He made a couple of great plays. Uh I would probably, if I was going to bet it, I think I’d probably go Raiders here because I have a veteran quarterback and I have Max Crosby and and Shadur’s first start. But I I don’t It’s way better for the show if he’s amazing. Way way. Everybody thinks he’s going to struggle outside of the conspiracy theory dorks. But it would be way better if he’s amazing. And amazing would be 21 of 27, two touchdowns, no picks, uh sacked two or three times. You know, realistically, a couple of ran backwards, got whacked. I mean, that that’s kind of his game, but I’m rooting for it. Sunday in sunny Chicago, Bears host the Steelers. And there’s a lot of Caleb Williams critics and doubters. I am not one of them. Although I do think sometimes I’d like to see more consistent accuracy. But for the doubters and critics, this is a game that you are waiting to see, right? Because Pittsburgh punishes you. They forced 11 turnovers with Daniel Jones and Drake May. Those teams are combined 17 and four. And those teams are better than Pittsburgh, but Pittsburgh beat them because they took the ball away. The Steelers are 5-0 when they win the turnover battle and it’s the only way Pittsburgh is going to win this weekend. Why? Because Aaron Rodgers is not 100% and he’s old and they cannot run the football. Okay, so Pittsburgh is last week they play Cincy four touchdowns, two are on defense. That’s how Pittsburgh wins now, especially with Aaron probably playing at about 75 80%. The the running game is bad. It’s not getting better. So the the this should be a lowscoring game. Whoever wins the turnover battle probably wins the game. That’s how Pittsburgh is going to have to win. And it it probably should be one of those games where Caleb Williams plays in structure. And it’s kind of boring. Boring will win because I think Chicago is the better team and they’re at home and they have the better offense and the weather’s not going to be an issue. So, this is a classic game in the NFL for a young quarterback to have to understand what he needs to deliver. This does not need to be a highlight. Get rid of the ball quickly. Do not tease or challenge TJ Watt. Stay in the pocket. Get rid of it. Play within structure. Caleb does not throw a lot of picks, but if he’s going to, this Pittsburgh team with Mike Tomlin is a great underdog team. Tomlin’s as good an underdog coach and motivator as the league has. And Aaron’s banged up and they can’t run the ball. So, there is a way Mike Tomlin is preaching, we’re taking the ball away from the young guy. We got to create turnovers. We have to score in defense and special teams. That’s their route to win. Chicago can win multiple ways, but the absolute way they’ll lose is to play into Tomlin, which is turnovers and giveaways. So, I think I think Caleb’s going to play well. I think Chicago is the better team. I think the weather sets up for him. I like Chicago in this spot. Don’t love him, like him. And here’s Mike Tomlin on facing Caleb Williams. I can’t say enough about what I’ve seen from Caleb Williams. Certainly, I had studied him a lot being a a young guy in this league and an NFC guy, but just really impressed uh with his physical talents. um his ability to throw the football, his his accuracy, his arm strength, um his ability to extend, um his ability to see the full field while doing so, minimizing negativity. Um the creativity associated with his escapability and and play extension is is really challenging. Now, Drake May’s been unbelievable this year. He unraveled against the Steelers. Daniel Jones and the Colts offense, number one in the league in efficiency. Daniel Jones unraveled against Pittsburgh and and the Colts are better than Pittsburgh. Let’s be honest about that. New England’s better than Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh beat them both one way. The defense creates turnovers. That is the way Pittsburgh wins this weekend. So, can Caleb play really play within structure? Kind of be boring. Get rid of the ball quickly. Don’t don’t don’t tease TJ Watt. Don’t. It’s not good. So, I think it’s a fascinating game. And if you’re a critic or a doubter of Caleb Williams, you’re sitting there on X. You’re just ready to push send. You are just ready to push told you so. I think I think Chicago is a better team. Weather plays the part. Aaron’s banged up. I think they’re going to win. Today’s show is brought to you by our new presenting sponsor, Hard Rock Bet. So, this weekend, Dallas off a nice, impressive Monday night win. They were healthy defensively, clobbered the Raiders, and now Philadelphia comes to town. Cowboys are a three and a half point underdog. And what’s really noteworthy is that Dak Prescott, I’m I’m not really an awards guy or a or a you know, stat guy, you know, whatever. Dak is going to become if he throws for 160 yards, the all-time Cowboys leader team record in yards thrown for now. Now, he’ll surpass Tony Romo. Now, Dak did have two advantages over Romo. Dak for about a seven-year stretch had the best offensive line in the NFL. Tony Romo for a lot of years was running for his life. And number two, it’s more of a passing league now than when Tony Romo or Rakeman played. But here’s where I love Dak. Tony Romo always felt like he was ad living a little more, especially late, than I’d love from my quarterback playing out of structure. Dak feels very prepared, can play out of structure, is great in it, and much more focused. Dak is a professional quarterback and the Cowboys are third in the league in points since he arrived. He is mature. He is prepared. It’s all about football and team. And he’s an unbelievable leader. I know he was a fourth round draft pick. I understand that. He is a blue chip five-star leader. He’s had three head coaches. He’s had four offensive coordinators. Jerry’s gotten a little quirkier as he’s aged. He had the Zeke circus, the Dak circus, distracted Micah. And yet Dak just always shows up and wins double-digit games. Even with Brian Shottenheimimer, we all had our doubts. Dallas is an elite offense. So even this week, Raiders game, why didn’t CD Lamb and George picking start? H they were out at the Red Rock Casino having a few flavored cocktails and uh and miss curfew and it didn’t matter. Dak went out and threw four touchdowns, a 139 passer rating. Dak is the guy at the podium on Wednesday, pregame, postgame, a circus and noise all around him. Plays within structure, unbelievably coachable, and as good a leader as the NFL has at his position. It’s why I always say, it’s why I’m so hard on the Johnny Manzels out there. That’s why I’m so tough on Silly Jameus Winston. Maturity, focus, no distractions. There’s enough noise in Dallas. Dak never has to provide it. He He’s just the cold water to the fire this week. And here’s Jerry Jones on Dak before he faces at home the Eagles. He is the best leader that I’ve been around for a team. And period. and uh uh he just has a natural uh uh just a natural sense of what the situation calls for. He’s had it since he walked through the door from the get-go this year. Uh he’s been our stalwart relative to our chance to win this year. Yeah. Two words, self-awareness. It is absolutely crucial for one position on a football field at all times. It doesn’t matter if there’s a cultural or social change in America or Jerry saying something on his Monday show or postgame. Changing coaches, changing coordinators, immature teammates, never matters. Dak A++ on those intangible a quarterback needs to be a legend. rooting for Dak to break that record. Maybe not the elite armed talent of a Mahomes, but in the stuff that matters like leadership, maturity, and focus and preparation. Good as the league has. Good for him.

  1. Dak is a high character guy, but is headed to Danny White territory unfortunately, and will he restructure his deal to keep the players that are a big part of his success

  2. From an evaluation standpoint, I genuinely believe Shedeur Sanders has the ceiling to reach a Dak Prescott–type level in the NFL. His composure, leadership intangibles, and arm talent all suggest he could develop into that caliber of quarterback if the trajectory continues in the right direction. Now, when we talk floor, I’d compare it to something around a Matt Schaub level — a reliable, productive starter who can win games and put up solid numbers.

And here’s the thing: multiple truths can exist at once. The talent is there, the potential is real, and the outcomes depend on development, system fit, and growth. It’s a wide range, but it’s a realistic one.

  3. Colin be forgetting he has video praising Shedeur. Now he's a flip-floper. Your platform blows with the wind. Next week he'll have the guy's balls in his mouth if he plays well😂😂
